This is a nice little 9 hole golf course. It has three Par 3s, four Par 4s and two Par 5s. It has water and sand traps. The course is surprisingly challenging. I think one of the hardest hole is the Fourth Hole Par 5. Its starts off wide then gets more narrow as you approach the green plus theres water on the right hand side and OB on the left side. The greens and fairways are in pretty good conditions. The only thing I would say is don't play too early (before 8am) unless you don't mind a little wetness on the greens.

Streamwood Oaks is a nine-hole golf course and features a 3,404 yard championship layout. Water comes into play on all nine holes and will challenge even the most experienced player. The golf course is owned by the Village of Streamwood and operated and managed by Links Management.

I usually play here as a practice course since it has all the elements that I need without having to dish out major cash. It's only $15 for resident and $17 for non-resident. Riding carts are available but i don't know how much since I usually walk it since it's only 9 holes.

Surprisingly, there are a lot of people out on the weekends at this course so if you have a group make sure to call for a tee time. Walk-ons are pretty easier to get though if you're by yourself.

I'm a beginner golfer.  With that being said, heading out on a golf course is a pretty intimidating task for me. The last thing I need is some 70 year-old ranger following me on the course for 2 holes to tell me that I need to speed things up.  Don't stalk me while I'm trying to concentrate, just deliver your message and leave me be, please.

Excuse me, but I thought this was a public 9 hole course, the kind where beginners play to learn.  I definitely will not be returning.

For those avid golfers, this is actually a nice course to play.  Well kept greens, small putting area to practice (minus the actual holes).  Greens here run a little fast so my usual putts that would make it in ran right past the hole.  9 holes will run you $12 after 3pm.  $7 for a cart.
