Owned and managed by Atlantic Management Ltd (Farmington Hills, MI).
They are actually located in Davison, MI.
I lived here for two years...
At first, it was Ok. It was a decent place to live, quiet, people left you alone, rent was reasonable.... but then... as time pressed on, it became clear that it was all a well crafted facade, because, much to my horror, this place is actually operated like a glorified trailer park.
Tenants came and went often. One of the people in my building was evicted for non-payment, then magically a month or two later they were living in the complex again. The people who lived above me for a long time moved out and were replaced by people fresh out of a real trailer park, who were loud, dirty, obnoxious, ill mannered, discourteous, and every possible incarnation of a nightmare neighbor. Complaints to management about them and their behavior were brushed off or outright ignored. Once it was dark outside, they snuck in the remainder of the army of children (and two dogs) living there illegally. Management did nothing, heck, they didn't even care as long as their check from the State Welfare office showed up every month.
Their "maintenance", while appreciated and seemingly honestly trying, are ill prepared for the proper management of an apartment complex. Problems of all types are covered up with caulk (ie: large cracks in wall, water damage on floorboards); scotch tape was used to cover up the holes in the screen door for the balcony; a major water leak in the bathroom from the above apartment was never fixed (although they at least appeared to have tried to find it's caused it).
Rent was raised at every opportunity. I was never late and always paid several months in advance, yet was met with consistent increases.
There was a point where I would have recommended them if you needed a basic roof over your head. I can not say that now.
Unless you enjoy living in trailer park conditions, avoid this place and go elsewhere. 1 star is being generous. I wish there was a way to rate it less than that!
