Good food!! Great spot for families and kids! We enjoy coming here on nights where live bands are playing too!

Service was good. Not many places open in town on a Sunday but glad Strap Tank was. Great fish n chips. Decent pizza and a pass on the chicken fried chicken steak. Love me a good porter

needs to hire more staff and provide more prompt service.

Why do I need more characters to say that the service was mediocre at best.

I've never been here before but I have heard great things, so I decided to check it out.

Upon arrival you will have a larger parking lot that is shared between a couple other businesses. We came towards the end of the day and we're met by a friendly host at the door. She took our phone number and told us about a 15 minute wait, despite the business being relatively empty. We waited outside for about 20 minutes and then decided to check in. They had sent us a text message that I somehow missed five minutes earlier and the hostess informed us that we lost our reservation (in this empty restaurant). I asked her if there is still any table available and that we would wait for it. The hostess made it seem like there would be an even longer wait and possibly no table available, she then went to ask for help. The next worker came in a couple minutes and immediately sat us at an empty table surrounded by other empty tables. I'm not exactly sure what the problem was there, but it was very odd.
This is place is nicely decorated in old Americana designs with old motorcycle parts and surfing photos hanging out. I like stuff like that, so it was cool to see some of that history. We ordered food and drinks and they came pretty quickly. I decided to take a chance with their streak and ordered "rare". I will have you know that their chef cooked this steak to near perfection. This was MUCH more than I was expecting from a bar and grill type venue. This is probably the best steak I've ever had for this price point. It wasn't the best cut of meat and still was cooked flawlessly. I would definitely come here again just for that steak. Please give your chef a raise. They saved this experience for me with excellent food quality.
The beer was fine, no complaints, but when you order a mix drink or cocktail, expect your pour to be extremely light or your drink to be mostly ice. The dessert was great, their peach cobbler was delicious.
All in all, I'd come here again but really only for that steak. I would likely skip purchasing any adult drinks and go for something simple like a soda.

Pulling off the highway to a brewery in Utah County my hopes were pretty low. When we pulled in the lot the line was out the door. We shuffled past everyone and found a seat at the bar. I sampled some light beer which was on all honesty pretty watery, not my fav for light beer. As we waited for 10+ minutes for the bar tender to come back to get our drink and food order we watched him walk in circles and talk to the wait staff next to us, all while ignoring the lack of food and drink in front of us. A few of staff seemed annoyed we sat on that side of the bar, not by the wait station but next to it. We were asked if we were almost done before we even had our drinks and food! WTF...lol

We got the Pub Burger. The bacon jam was awesome . Quick question: do you know the difference between jam and jelly? (DM me for the answer.) the burgers and fries were pretty good.

Then came time for the check....which took about 15 minutes to get after we sat there with empty plates.

All in all the food was good but the staff at the bar and bar area had their heads in the clouds. Not fun on a Saturday night.

      1 check-in

Looking for somewhere close to our hotel. The parking lot was pretty full (they share with other businesses) but when we walked in, we saw there were plenty of tables available. We were seated immediately and within a couple of minutes our waiter was there. We ordered two of their beers, Honey Bandit & Ape Hangar. They came in large mugs for $8.00 which is extremely reasonable. We both ordered the soup of the day - Tomato Basil. It was warm and rich and perfect for a cold and rainy day. For dinner we both ordered the Steak Salad - medium rare. The meat was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and tender. It was set on top of a bed of mixed greens, tender and crispy asparagus, corn, pickled onions, and crumbled blue cheese. They came with two containers of blue cheese dressing. So happy we chose here to stop. Definitely on our places to return to when we are in town.

Fries, sweet potato fries, and salsa were great! Love love loved them.

Burgers were fine. Pretty much what you would expect for a $17 burger. I got the bacon cheese burger. They don't skimp out on the meat which is great. The pickles they use are delicious.

Do not recommend the queso or the artichoke dip.

Service was terrible. We were quoted 40-45 min which we agreed to. It took over an hour to be seated. A group the same size as us came in and immediately the hostess told us she was going to sit them first then grab us. Mind you, we had a baby with us and had been told our table was going to be ready soon multiple times at this point. This was distasteful. My husband's food came out 20 min later than everyone else's as well. It would have been better if it was communicated that his food was going to be significantly delayed.

They do not allow reservations as well.

The food is decent but nothing is really "off the hook" . Friendly service that provided us with honest opinions- deeply appreciated their candor. The hamburgers are a good bet!

Strap tank was fantastic. Been here about a dozen times so far. It never disappoints. The wait is never too long. The food is amazing. I've had the fish and chips, the turkey sandwich, the chicken fried chicken, the steak all were just super delicious. I always have a hard time choosing a dish bcz they're all sooo good. And not to mention the live band. I think that might be a Friday dinner thing though.

Glad I tried Strap Tank finally! I enjoyed it! The chef salad was big and tasty and came out quick. The atmosphere was top notch. I love when a place is themed well! I'm just sad that we got there right after the live music stopped.. that would've made it even better!
My main complaint is just that everything is so expensive, and while my salad was good, I would've never expected it to cost me $20! Especially since it was pretty basic. Glad I came but probably won't come back all the time.
