Call it modern? Dark, rust like bronze metal, dark, concrete, dark. A suitable stay for SNL Sprockets ;)

If you arrive by self driving, be prepared for an anxiety attack trying to weave in-between pedestrians on what looks like an undrivable street! Heavily crowded with casual walkers.

Suite ~ not sweet. Smallest square footage in Milan. Maximizing the location as the Duomo is 100 yards away. Bathroom is tight even for a single person. The shower is the roomiest part of the room.

Minimalistic service ~ just appropriate enough to check us in. None of the three at the front desk was prepared to concierge questions for basic recommendations, Duomo info, etc.

Why you stay here ~ right in front of the hotel entrance is an outdoor seating area servicing drinks. Beautiful folks everywhere dressed to impress. Ferraris & Lambos pulling up to party. The nightlife here was Milan magnifico ;)

The only nice about this place is it's close to the Domo. The cleaning person is nice

But the hotel is a 1/2 star for French standards and a 0 for American! The bathroom is soo poor the water runs all around the outside.

To my Marritto people, this is not a Marritto place. They lied to us all around !!

The beds are hard as rocks and the rooms, well look at the picture below that's the art work in the room

You walk in it's looks like it's under construction!

I would never recommend this place at all.

Once again location is great but the place is just not a good European hotel.

This is the art work inside the room

Unbeatable location if you want to be close to Duomo. Subway access steps away although you can walk to many other destinations on foot .

Check-in was fast and efficient. Staff provide help and answers all my questions.

The room was interestingly decorated. Shower was well designed. Room had instant coffee , tea and a heating kettle . There were two wine glasses. The mini fridge bar was stocked wines snacks and other beverages for a charge.

The hotel reminded me of the Bonvoy Aloft brand in the US . No issues with the room size it was very cleverly designed to store clothing and maximize utility. Room was immaculately clean.

They banking in the location a lot. Service is almost to none. Room was so tinny. Medal room don't respond your key card. The bathroom door hit the bed , shower water flows above your feed. If you can do your makeup in the shadow be my guest! And You can't get front desk answer calls. I felt people work here really not helpful. Dislike the customers much! Lot of stares and not much smiles.

This hotel is practically in the Galleria so it gets an A for location. The rooms are spacious though a bit cold. The front desk is accommodating. All in all, a good choice for your visit to Milan.

Excellent location right off the main square and duomo. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK. It could have used a little more variety. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but it was much too dark. Lots of black - floors, furniture, dark walls. Hotel was also a little warm. When we noticed the room was not cooling down, we called the front desk and were informed they had to turn on the air conditioning? Strange. The big bottles of shampoo, soap, and lotion that got refilled daily were a turn off. What's to say that someone did not temper with them? The location and service are great, so if you stay here, just make sure to bring your own toiletries.

Cool hip modern hotel (with bar) in the middle of the city !

I was here for two days in this hotel and it was really a good choice. You're right next to the Domo in a quiet street.

The interior is really cool. They used a lot of metal and wood and combined it in an unusual way. The rooms are big enough for a city trip and also the same design. A lot of concrete as well.

Don't go here if you don't like it to dark! they use little light and everything is kinda decorated in dark colors.

For me the room was actually to warm... And opening a window was not really an option.

The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The restaurant recommendation as well.

To the hotel belongs a bar. Not that big, but cool enough. A lot of locals come here to enjoy the apertivo or just to get a cocktail. I'm sure not the cheapest place in town but it's worth the experience.

I would recommend for sure this place. But everything comes with a price. It was not the cheapest hotel, therefor you get excellent service, designish and great location.

Straf Bar may be very small, but it's never overcrowded, although this may be due to the weekdays I went there.
I usually end up there late, well after aperitivo or dinner time, and have a cocktail with a few friends. Out of all the places I went in Milan, this is probably one of the best for drinks: while you drink you almost can't taste the alcohol, however when you stand up your legs make you aware of what you drank, and I just love that feeling.

Sorry, but staying in a concrete and metal bunker is not my idea of the European experience. I actually had a nightmare that I was hunkered down here during a nuclear attack. Fortunately Sergeant Saunders was with me so we kept a tough and fearless perspective. But it was disconcerting nonetheless.

      I kid you not.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, my room is very industrial and chic looking, the light switches are a bit confusing and it takes a bit to actually turn all the lights on and/or off. It is a very green hotel, as they do not offer small toiletries in bottles but big bottles with body wash, shampoo and body lotion which I think is a great idea!!! The bathroom is spacious and very cool looking in its all brass and wood look! The only "bad" thing that there is was that the floors are all concrete and brass metal in both the room and the bathroom and there are no mats, only slippers - so my feet were really cold a lot.
I would definitely stay here again!
