2 reviews for Stoweflake Resort
Was here for two days in the summer and the room was decent. Clean and rather larger bath room it had everything one could want in a room except high speed Internet.
The grounds of the resort are filled with beautiful wild gardens and well maintained laws. They have a full service gym (racquetball, weight room, yoga and spin classes). If that does not get you going there is also a "chip and putt" plus several tennis courts. Inside and outside pools as well as a hot tub.
There is a full service spa for those that like to get pampered. My significant other went and she said it was great service and they had a bunch of different options to chose from.
Over all my experience was great. There is some quirkiness to the resort. One is that my guess is that it started off many years ago as a motel. Then they built a wing of other rooms. Then a conference facility, then a indoor pool then and then and then. So there is not a very organized felling to the resort. Feels a bit disjointed and not consistent.
Two extremely outstanding parts to the place were the staff. They were extremely helpful and very approachable for help and/or advice. Also the activities staff or concierge was filled with knowledge and advice.
