2 reviews for Stormville Pizza & More
Now this is pizza. If you get a large pie, you'll be very happy. If you get it by the slice it's $2.50 for a slice that is about 2.5 times the size of a New York City slice. They can also cut the slice in half for bambino's and those watching our figures. You'll be full with 1 slice, 2 if you are high.
Taste? here is why it only gets 4 stars instead of 5. Sometimes the pizza tastes great, then other times it is the definition of amazing. I've never had a bad experience coming here. period. If you happen to be in the area (for scenery or let's say the Stormville flea market), you have to try this spot. If you've tried better pizza, please, please let me know where.
In the last few years, there has been quite a bit of growth in the town and with that have been renovations to the place. The specials now include a bizarre ratio. Mon: 2 pints of beer and 1 slice for $5. crazy. the numbers should be 2 slices with 1 beer, but they don't horse around here.
Friendly crowd, great pizza. My only regret is that I don't know the recipe or own a piece of the restaurant.
As for the "and more" portion of the restaurant, I don't recall any dish being far superior to another, but the only thing aside from pizza that I've had is the garlic knots.
I'm going to have to agree with everything Chetan P. says. Not only are the slices larger than life (its like they cut the pizza into quarters and give you a slice), but the sauce is AMAZING. The right amount of tomato & garlic, while not overdoing it on cheese like a lot of pizza places have the tendency to do. Whether you go for a slice with friends or you just want a place to watch the Yanks game, Stormville Pizza is the best pizza place in town.
