We moved to the Almaden Valley area about 10 years ago and needed a new dentist. A friend recommended Dr. Cohen, Entering the office is an experience in its self. The staff is warm and friendly and everybody know your name. Dr. Cohen comes out and sits with you just to talk and find out how my family and I are doing.
Great place for kids and adults. I don't take the best care of my teeth but Dr. Cohen and his staff does.
My daughter was terrified of the dentist after a bad experience with a dentist that specialized in pediatric dentistry. This dentist had a cool office, but patient chairside manner was deficient. Dr. Cohen was extremely patient and gentle with her, and after a few visits, she would go to the dentist without apprehension.

There's no such thing as 'perfect' but if there was...Dr. Cohen, his office, and staff would all get the perfect stamp from me!
I had neglected my teeth for a couple years and was convinced I'd leave with a hefty list of things I would need to have done....BUT that was not the case. No cavaties, yay! I owe that to my good genetics. But I owe Dr. Cohen his patience in answering all of silly questions and also stating that there are no silly questions-he encourages conversation and dialogue with his patients, this is a huge plus!
I had a series of x-rays done since it had been so long, and the process was made very easy and comfortable for me.
His approach was very old-school professional where you feel like you are talking to a very genuine person who is passionate about the business they run and making sure you feel completely comfortable... and again, answering any and all questions with very informative answers. I left feeling very well taken care of! I spent most of the time laughing because Dr. Cohen and staff make it such a lovely, positive experience from the time you walk in, until you leave. We had some great conversation aside from 'teeth' about life in general. You can tell that everyone at the office has a genuine interest in getting to know each patient! A huge plus- something that for me seems hard to find these days.
I am going back in a week just for a general cleaning, and no other services were needed at this time- nor did they try to push procedures on me or suggest anything unecessary. Infact I was the one who was looking into possibly having 'teeth bleaching trays' made for me and they answered all of my questions regarding this, without once trying to sell me the service or push it on me - how nice!
All in all, a PERFECT experience! I am completely thrilled that I have found a new long-term dentist for myself, and looking forward to future visits and referring all of my family/friends to them from here on out!
Thankyou Dr. Cohen and staff for running such a professional, clean, FUN, dentistry office! -

The dental services provided by Dr. Cohen and his staff have been excellent. Minor procedures such as the occasional filling are performed smoothly and with great attention to patient comfort.
I've been a patient for probably a decade or so. I look forward to being a patient for many more years. Highly recommended.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Cohen and his staff and was very happy with the services and most of all the warm, friendly atmosphere. They were very accomodating. My family and I just recently made the switch to Dr. Cohen (the previous dentist is one that I've seen since childhood; I wanted to have a dentist closer to where I am now living); I'm feeling great about our choice. Can't say I'm looking forward to more dental proceedures but I know I'll be in good hands.

Best dentist I've ever been do! Dr. Cohen and his staff are so friendly and always make me feel welcome and comfortable when I go in.
I've been going to Dr. Cohen for about 8 years now and in that time I've had a number of cleanings, a tooth pulled and a cavity filled (I think, it's been awhile :P), and in that time, I've only had extremely positive experiences. The work has always been pain-free, smooth and professional.
Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to my next dental visit. -

Dr. Cohen is a great dentist and truly makes you feel welcome in his office. He takes his time and you never feel rushed. He made me feel right at home from my very first day. Even when I get a teeth cleaning he makes sure to go into the room and say Hi to see how everything is. His staff is also very friendly. Top notch office!

I recently moved to the Almaden Valley area and was looking for a new dentist. I have had a string of bad dentists in the past (last in Los Gatos) who, though nice, were constantly trying to pressure me to do a lot of cosmetic and what seemed like unecessary work.
I immediatey felt at ease entering the suite, very clean, inviting and very friendly staff. Both Dr. Cohen and his assistant were extremely nice and spent time answering all my questions, never making me feel rushed. Dr. Cohen is definitely more of the old-school type of dentist which is exactly what I was looking for (the newer dentists feel like car salesmen to me...always trying to sell you stuff and much more showy).
On top of that, Dr. Cohen is one funny guy :) Loves to chat, you can just tell he is a people person and cares about his patients as individuals.
I also talked to them about bringing my 16-month old son in for his first dentist visit in a couple months and they explained they love to have kids and encouraged me to bring him in my next visit so that he could get comfortable with them before his actual apointments. They explain that they do everything they can to entertain the kids and make it a fun experience for them and that there is no pressure if the kid does not cooperate.
I go back for a cleaning in a week and will update my rating if anything changes but I definitely give them 5 stars!
I have a very good feeling about them and am so glad I finally found a great dentist office for my family and I!
