This is a LONG overdue review for the fabulous Steve! I had a crazy idea about redoing our backyard pergola with long draped strips of outdoor fabric. I had the vision and Steve helped me make it a reality. It was a bit complicated with lots of measurements. Steve stopped by once, chatted with me, looked at the pergola frame for a few minutes and grabbed the fabric I had purchased. His knowledge of fabric and construction helped us decided the best way to attach the strips of fabric to our pergola frame so it would stay put during windy Chicago days.
I was a bit worried because I felt I hadn't given him enough direction, but I had no reason to worry, as Steve came back with what I needed - perfection! I'm going to add some pictures so you can see how beautiful it turned out.
I will definitely contact Steve with future sewing needs!

Meet the Business Owner: Steve H.
Innovative and unusual, Steve's body of art ranges widely from unique surreal-looking lamps to costumes and slip covers, window treatments and upholstery.
Once you get to know Steve, you will quickly learn to accept the distractions that fuel his creative nature. During a routine conversation over a cup of coffee, something will catch his eye and quickly sweep him away from your exchange. As he immediately explores his new idea out loud, you can literally "see the wheels turning" in his brain as he formulates his latest plan for making something mundane into a beautiful gem.
During the course of his career, Steve has created costumes in a Vegas show and on cruise ships, created sets and costumes for schools and community theatre.
Steve's work has been featured on HGTV's "That's Clever" and "New Spaces" shows, and MTV's "Cribs" as well as on the cover of the Chicago Tribune Magazine home design issue. He was also included in Chicago Home Magazine's "Hidden Treasures"
