All that & a bag of chips! Course conditions are on point. Found a great deal in the paper for $59 on Labor Day. Fun but very challenging course. I would have to say that this may be the nicest course I've played to date.
Take the advice of ruggy j and beware. This course was so tough that I was two golf balls away from having to stop because I almost ran out of golf balls! This course was so tough that the homie jammed up his wrist hitting out of the rough and actually did stop playing.
Don't get it twisted though. Like the governator said, "I'll be baack."
One final side note. To the lovely cart girl that I startled by hitting her snack cart on that par 3. Let me apologize one more time. I think it may be time to look into some lessons.

If you're an average golfer, or a beginner... you'll hate golf after playing here. It's really hard and you WILL lose 10 balls. I guarantee you.
HOWEVER, if you're pretty good (like me... hah!) you'll have a great time. The golf course itself is absolutely beautiful. A gem in the hills of east county. There are three different 9 hole courses, so no matter how many times you've been, it still feels like a fresh, new course because they'll mix and match you different every time.
For twilight, the price is right. $39 with a cart after 2:00PM. For a golf course of this caliber, that's a steal. Get some practice, play some easier courses (like Cottonwood just down the street), and check it out sometime... especially around dusk. It's amazing!

The question here is, "Are you a member?"
Golfing here was a breeze. This golf club is tucked away between Rancho San Diego and Jamul. So, quiet and serene...a perfect location for a golf course.
The restaurant inside the clubhouse was quaint. Great lunch specials, and member discounts. The bar was well-stocked, and probably a fun idea to get a little tipsy before going on an 18 hole mission.
Golf Digest rated this course a 4 1/2 out of 5. The course was designed by Gary Player (yes, his last name is Player). With three different courses to choose from, I'm sure you'll be able to find a level suitable for your ability. If you don't have the patience for 18 holes, you can hit up the range. Hitting the range was a blast, although I let go of the club once.
Steele Canyon Golf Club is also a great venue and caters to baptisms, engagement parties, weddings, graduations, or any other special occasions.
I'm tempted to deduct a star because my aunt lives across the street and every once in a while, a golf ball will hit my car while en route.

Great mid range daily fee course.
27 holes of challenging in the canyons golf. Wind plays a factor on most shots. Accuracy is key.
The course can get backed up on occasion.
Course and facilities are well maintained.
A local told me that Tina Mickelson (sister of Phil and current LPGA tour player) used to be one of the head pros here.
