Don't know why but today Steak & Shake is horrible ... I was finished with my meal before my husband got his burger (they brought wrong order twice) nod neither of us got our shakes until after HIS meal arrived. My shake was milk, no spoon needed straw wouldn't stand up. Spoke to mgr didn't help much except did get hubby's burger. Couple at next table didn't get their order until after my husband insisted the waiter take care of them and then both their orders were wrong. They didn't dare send back they were too hungry.

It was my first visit to a S n S, there very few people in the restaurant when I arrived, so I was a little surprised why it took so long to get my order...
Fries were good, hot, and crisp, my double cheeseburger had a pretty food flavor, but the bun seemed a little hard, which took some points from the burger, I had no complaints with the vanilla shake that I also ordered...

I miss the personal touch of wait staff and cashiers. But this is a kiosk ordering system and you pick up your order when it's ready. The pick up station is next to the drink machines, so you fill your drink when you get your cup.
The burgers and fries were good. We got them just the way we ordered them. They came up quickly, too. We tipped 10%.

This place has really gone down hill since moving to the kiosk system. The dinning room was filthy, I had to go behind the drink station to find a cleaning spray just to clean a table table because every available table was nasty. I should have taken that as a sign and left then. Food came quickly but it was cold, it was like they had the food sitting in the back waiting. It was not fresh at all. I got a fountain drink and didn't drink it because it tasted like the machines for the soda and tea haven't been clean. The floor is so nasty it's sticky. I use to love coming here and now, I won't be back. It's really disappointing.

I made an online order and when i arrived i waited 30 minutes only to get asked if i had been helped, when i was asked if i had been help i explained that i ordered online and my food had been sitting up where the drive through food sits, so then i get home to open my food to my milkshake being warmer than my cheese burger, every item i had purchased was colder than leftovers in the fridge from the night before, terrible

Burgers is about the only thing good here. They have the best burgers anywhere compared to all the Fast Food or Diner Places. The Milshakes are awful and have a very bad odor to them. As for ordering, they make you use a Kiosk (which I don't mind using), but they ask for a tip when you get ready to pay. Thays not cool. You NEVER leave Tip when there iss NO Service. These people Make about $15 per hour as it is. And if you don't leave a tip, what are they doing to your food.

As I'm sitting here waiting for my grandkids to get their food from the kiosk I'm watching a worker a black older lady lick her fingers as she's eating food talking to a guest. How disgusting. This day and age you can't do things like that. She should be ashamed of herself. We definitely will never be back. After this I don't even think we'll stick to our South Florida steak and shakes.

How many epic fails can one location have??? Here we go.
This locationil is FILTHY. Windows are so dirty it is hard to see in or out them. Tables, booths and walls were desperately needing cleaning witj food residue, grimy kid hand prints, and just dirty. There is no care taken in this location whatsoever.
Anyway, servers are gone so you are forced to order at a kiosk. Then seriously it asks you to tip. Tip who? Me? The order taker? Me the order picker up? What a farce.
Anyway, they got rid of the chicken tenders and most other menu items. Only burgers. We ordered burgers and shakes. No more glass shake cups. Only much smaller paper cups now, and they skimp on the mix ins. I even paid extra for more butterfinger and oreos. Never could tell. I also paid for honey mustard sauce. 60 cents and guess what? Not on our tray. My son asked the lady at pickup to give it to him with the receipt. Nope. She all but accused us of taking it off the tray. She was less than nice or fiendly bShe sent him to the cook area who sent him to a manager to get it. We have to run around because of their mistake. It felt like the condiments were locked up. Grrr.
Clearly they are penny pinching here but they should have apologized for forgetting it and just handed it to him, instead of passing him around for a cup of mustard.
I can now see why their stores are closing by the dozens. This chain which was once good - has spiraled into the garbage can. Every fun part of dining here for kids, paper hats, paper cars and coloring are gone too.
Someone should call the health department and report them. If the front of house is grossly filthy, imagine what the cooking and prep area looks like. There is no one wiping tables off in between diners. They clearly have no concept of cleaning or disinfecting. Just completely gross and filthy.
We stopped here while dropping my son at school, but I would never return again.

First I waited for about 10 mins at the speaker. I ordered a kids meal with a Dr pepper and a kids Cotton candy shake, a number 5 with a sprite, a number 6 with a sprite, I wanted chili cheese fries with those and was told that they don't make them anymore. I then ordered a cup of chili to make my own. I finished my order by adding in a Reese's chocolate shake and a cotton candy shake. I was told that my total was 36 and change. I was surprised that it was such a great price for everything I ordered. Waited about 15 mins to get my order only to have everything shoved at me. I received everything but my order which was the number 5. Then the girl lied and said that she repeated the order back to me although she clearly did not. She did not close my shake correctly and it spilled all over my clothes and car. She made me feel like a liar then she had me pay for a whole other meal but at this point I did not need a drink anymore and proceeded to order a 4 dollar meal of the single burger equivalent of what I ordered (the garlic burger. They were mad that I had to order it at the window and threw it together and added extra extra sauce and it was so messy that I had to park and walk in to get it remade. I spent over $40 just to be treated like garbage. I was not rude I didn't even raise my voice. I even offered to pay for my burger, park, and walk into the restaurant as to not hold up the line. They threw my fries into the bag even the box was broken. I can't believe the lack of customer service I received. I will be taking my business else where. Thanks for nothing.

Slow service, all the tables were dirty and the entire floor was sticky. Worst Steak 'n Shake I have ever been too.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. For drive thru the lines are always long and idk what it is with this place but they cannot take your damn order right, literally was in the line for an hour they couldn't get my simple order right!! I had to explain it to them like 5 times not to mention the burger was cold like?? Why serve a cold burger?! I had enough at that and even before I pulled up to the window I had him read me back my order and he didn't even have it right what I told him I wanted save your money and time don't come here
