The State Armory is noteworthy for a lot of reasons. First of all, the food is surprisingly edible, considering that there is usually what I would refer to as the College Bar Trade-off, which is that the more fun a place is to drink, the lower the food quality. The Armory is both fun and good food.
They have a bomber replica in the ceiling, which is cool. When I was a student at UNC, they also ran a bus down towards campus to pick us up. I am not sure if the bus still runs, but if not it should.
The drink specials are also creative. 5,4,3,2,1 for the price of one countdowns on Friday afternoons and evenings are a must attend event.
