Starview Diner

I have not stopped in to this diner in years. It is located on a main road and is centrally located.

We stopped in for lunch around 1pm. It was a bit busy but we were able to be seated. The waitress was very nice and attentive.

I ordered the hungry man meal which included 2 eggs, meat and 2 pancakes; I also added home fries. The food was tasty and was of a good portion. My only complaint would be I don't know if the pancake or the syrup tasted "odd" (I can't describe it). My daughter ordered the deluxe cheeseburger which she enjoyed (served w/ pickles, coleslaw and fries).

Overall a good experience and definitely a diner with trying.

Great diner. Stopped early one morning for a decent breakfast before heading out in a drive. Everything was prepared as I wanted it and it was good. They even gave me a coffee to go. I did notice that the bar area wasn't the cleanest but it isn't something that worried me too much.

Perfect breakfast. Shredded potatoes, eggs, scrapple, and sausage all cooked perfect. Too bad owner is retiring and place is closing.

The service is amazing and super nice. If you need a refill and you are trying to ask, dont worry. One of the employers will cone and ask you for a refill.Please come! :)

So glad to have stumbled upon this place! Classic diner, sparkling clean, friendly, personable service- our server Katie has been there 10 years - and the food is to live for! Will definitely be back next time I'm here in NJ, and my son who lives here will definitely be a regular!

Good food, fast service, and very clean. I stopped in early on a Sunday Morning. It was pretty empty, but the food was very good, the service was good, and I can't complain. SOS on toast with well done hash browns. I thinks it's the first time I ever actually for well done hash browns. LOL

Would recommend.

Awesome customer service and great food, highly recommend this please to anyone that is in need of a late night meal or a general meal during the day

I went In the men's bathroom , there was an overwhelming smell of naire (hair remover). a man was shaving his head and face in the sink. when I came out and sat down I heard another customer complain. three older geneman sitting at the counter defended the man. I did not know they were resteraunt favorites until I heard my waitress being extra nice to the making me assume they were regulars. I ordered crab bites, when my food came out, one of the bites had a strange odor like the smell of underarms. I almost want to assume that my food was tampered with because of my negative view point about the guy in the bathroom shaving. I will not be returning to this establishment and have a mind to call LNI to investigate for food safety concerns.

NEVER AGAIN !!! To witness the owner degrade, belittle & discipline his employees in front of all the customers attempting to enjoy their breakfast. Our waitress Kimberly has always provided us with great service & addresses us by name, Aaron whom was the employee being attacked has been an employee there for as long as I can remember. He's always amazed me with his ordering skills, never having to write the orders down & never getting them wrong. Diners are available to us in every direction & NEVER will we patronage this one because of the lack of respect & professionalism the owner displayed !!!

My partner and I just moved into the area and we wanted to see if he could eat here and we called twice to see if they accommodated tree-nut allergies and whoever answered didn't know what I was talking about and hung up on us both times after we explained it. They could've just said no.
