Starfish Point
2 reviews for Starfish Point
I had the best experience here. It was off-season, the management was on vacation, and the owner was looking after the place. He gave me a great rate on probably the best unit in the place (#5?). It was basically a townhome with master bedroom in a sort of a loft style, extra bedroom downstairs. The views were stupid-beautiful. Hit the whirlpool tub, crashed, and woke up to the most beautiful sunrise over the point out my window.
The owner recommended coffee across the street, which was tasty. If you play/sing a song on their little stage, you get a free drink. I should have, but I figured it was too early to put them through that.
I can't speak for the regular season or the normal management, but if they behave anything like what I experienced, this place is the best. Decent rates, AWESOME views, etc etc.
So - it was years and years ago but I'd love to see some others go check it out.
This is a hotel/time share - no amenities when I was there but it's my understanding that they now do family bonfires and what not. The "rooms" are really more like condos - my parents and I stayed in a two bedroom townhouse style dwelling. It had two balconies (easy access to toss grapes at the seagulls), a jetted tub, and easy beach access.
Off season used to be around 80/night. Go check it out!! Tell me if it still lives up - I'm planning a trip down to Oregon in a few months and would love to know!
