I've been to Starbucks all over the place, but this one is a particularly great location. Conveniently, located right off Interstate 5 in the small town of Willows, Starbucks is a shiny beacon of hope on a long drive.

When you come in, the staff is super friendly, often asking where you're headed. They make our drinks how we like them, and do it with a smile. There's seating inside and out, and the place (including the bathroom) is very clean. Plus you have the option of going through the drive through if you don't feel like getting out of the car.

What I like about this place is that it's almost exactly half-way between Redding and Sacramento, and it's freeway-convenient.  It's the perfect place to break up the trip down Interstate 5, which I am forced to make all too frequently.

Also cool is that, unlike the Starbucks near my office, they take your order and get you your drink quickly, like it's a given that you've got places to go, people to see, and babies to kiss -- even if you don't.

At the Starbucks near my work, the slow-ass line snakes through the display stands while each customer gets chatted up, including the obligatory pimping of the VIA instant coffee.  The local Starbucks tries my patience like the hour-plus lift lines at Heavenly Valley circa 1970 -- you stand there forever, thinking, "I'm paying for THIS?"

    Side note: Must.....resist......apple.....fritter.....wad.... ..of.......death.

I like this Starbucks because it's a great place to get your coffee and even better place to let the dogs out.  Recently, I got a cup of coffee, took the lid off and it smelled oddly liked marijuana.  I know!  I asked my associate to take a whif and he said the same thing!

Sooo, that's my review...no more words...

Drive Thru Caffeine Near HWY 5

When you just need a decent coffee to stay awake on the straight ahead sleeper which highway 5 is, this is a welcome sign.  Clean restrooms, friendly staff, chess/checkers to play, and eve adorable small booths.  For Willows, CA this deserves all five stars.

    Open Hours:
    Mon-Wed 5:00am to 9:30pm
    Thur-Sat 5:00am to 10:00pm
    Sun 5:30am to 10:00pm

Dog Friendly - Three paws for a few outdoor tables and umbrellas when you want to stretch those claws or a cheerful drive thru so your pooch can order his own glass of ice water.

Only thing better than posing with your motorcycle in front of Starbucks is posing with your racebike in your truck in front of Starbucks.

    True story.

This is when my (long) drive starts to get ugly... and like a beacon shining in the night sky, this Starbucks is here. Oh if only it were 24 hours!

The service is always cheerful, they always ask how your trip is going and as usual the taste is consistent. They seem a little more willing to do crazy things with your drinks here too, and as in the ultimate test, will put vanilla in the kidlets hot chocolate without argument.

This place deserves all five stars. They know they're pretty much the only place to get a decent coffee in the middle of nowhere, but in no way shape or form do they ever slack off because of it. If anything, they only seem to work harder.

It's silly to review another Starbucks, but this one is perfectly situated for a stop on the way up or down I-5.  Like everybody else has said - decent drive thru coffee right off I-5 - just what every long road trip needs.

Well, its a Starbucks, you can't really go wrong but this place is open early and sometimes packed due to its only location probably within a 30-mile radius, which I must say is quite unusual for Starbucks in general.

As expected, all Starbucks are generally consistent and tastes like any other Starbucks but I must agree with the previous / first reviewer and this is the ONLY place to get a decent latte anywhere around (evidently 30-mile radius!)

normally i wouldn't rate a starbucks as everyone knows exactly what to expect when coming. But when you have to wake up at 5am to get to Thunderhill, there is nothing better than visiting this starbucks for some coffee and possible a little breakfast.

I don't care that this is yet another invasion of Crackbucks into the heart of America.  The fact that I could get a reliable mocha in this town is worth 3 times the usual cost of a quad soy mocha anywhere else in the state.

These employees also seemed the only ones in the village that can work at Bay Area pace and recognize that no one wants to be in line for 30 minutes.

I am so happy this place is here.

This place has saved my tired ass many-a-times on road trips...as I always look forward to Willows...and its Starbucks!  In the middle of nowhere, you kinda get excited at any Starbucks, and this is the case here.  It's just off I-5, so easy to access.  Thank you Willows Starbucks!!!!
