This Starbuck's "outlet" is INSIDE of the Barnes & Noble on the corner of 196th and Alderwood Mall Parkway. I had separately reviewed B&N, but with my most recent visit - and my love for coffee - I decided this needed it's own review.

Love 'em or hate 'em, the one thing you will get at Starbucks is CONSISTENCY. No matter whether it's in Aberdeen, WA or Ennis, TX (yep, on my Coffee List) you get the exact same pour in any location. I like that. I depend on that. I need to know that when I'm Jonesing for caffeine that the latte I'm sucking down will taste good and lift my spirits. For that moment, all is right in my world.

For the first time EVER, I also tried their sammiches - specifically the cran-apple turkey on a crusty peasant bread. Lightly toasted, the sandwich by itself would have been given a low 3-star review. They use a "gourmet" cranberry blend instead of the more traditional red stuff that is more familiar to most. And cheddar, when clearly provolone or havarti would be a better selection. Clearly. In a pinch though, the sandwich is filling and doesn't taste bad, and at under $6 can be a decent lunch selection...if you can handle being in line with other coffee junkies.
