Can you say "Drive-Thru"?

Review from Beth A.
Los Altos, CA
It was dirty inside and the bathrooms were particularly gross. The people were okay... Seemed frazzled and like there was way too many people behind the counter. What really upset me was that they put cinnamon on top of the foam on my chai when I hadnt asked for it ( and no other Starbucks seems to do that so I just don't get why they did)
Not horrible if you need to stop but is rather visit the ones in salinas or king city -

Another "not so good" experience at Starbucks. Barristas forgot to call out when our drinks were ready and forgot my pastry until I asked for it.
If I pay $3-4 for a coffee, I EXPECT top notch service and not amateurs serving up my drinks! -

In the middle of nowhere (soledad) this Starbucks was my savior. I knew that if a Starbucks was somewhere, civilization wasn't too far away. Its clean, but its busy and the line for the bathroom is ridiculous.
It has a drive through and it seems a little bit bigger than most Starbucks.. probably because of the drive through, but oh well. I'm all for not cramped areas that are clean! -

I get drinks here at least once or twice a week. They may not always be the most consistent in making drinks, but they make up for it in customer service. They are friendly, helpful and keep the store clean.

This is a less than average Starbucks. But, they do have a drive thru, through. For a better coffee house experience, drive 6 miles north on 101 to Greenfield / 5th St. There is a coffee shop that sells Peets near the McDonalds. It's privately owned and so you're giving your money to the big multi-national corp..

I know. I know. You're all thinking, "OMFG! YOU HYPOCRITE!!!!! A STARBUCKS!?!?!?!??!?!"
Ok, notice the location. Soledad...the very bumble$#@% city that proudly displays a "It's Happening in Soledad" billboard off the southbound 101 despite nothing actually happening in there. I was obviously in transit and far from my natural habitat. But, $#@%, I had to pee and well, there aren't exactly scads of decent Peet's or notable independent coffee houses in the bumble%$@#iest parts of the 101. Also, too, emphasis on "need to pee." After driving down that awful leg of 101 more times than I care to remember, I can tell you a couple things:
1) Be careful with just how big of a hurry you are to get out of the worst stretch of the 101. King City is rampant with CHPs with nothing to do but pull your ass over.
2) iPods seriously made the drive a lot better because the radio stations down that stretch are either mariachi music or evangelical preaching.
3) If you have to pee, try to hold out for either a Starbucks or a Target because their bathrooms tend to be cleaner.
These bathrooms are no exception. Very clean. The service, even with the adjacent drive-thru is pretty efficient. And I had to get some god-awful, calorie-bombarded, high fructose corn syrup as main ingredient beverage because their coffee tastes like nasty ass on a good day.
Oh yeah, this Starbucks is also easily accessible from the 101...which is good because, well, I wanted to get the hell out of there as fast as I possibly could. Also too, if you are driving that leg this month, there is also a pretty cool Halloween store near the Starbucks...then again, I could quite possibly be the only loser who needed to pull over and buy a trident on her way home from Santa Barbara...Listed in: Central Coast Chaos

This is my favorite Starbucks. Why? It's in the middle of nowhere! I'll always stop here when I'm driving on the 101; there's not really anything else around.

Right off the 101, this location has drive-thru, which is mighty convenient. There are several other showps nearby, including a Longs drugstore.
Vegan Report: I don't drink coffee. Starbucks is my favorite coffee house chain for getting a hot chocolate with soy milk (no whipped cream). -

The absolute fastest starbucks I've ever been to in my life.
You all know how the drinks are, so I won't bother reviewing those. :) -

I hate stopping at this Starbucks, but its the only one on my way to work since they closed the far better one in Gonzales. My order is often wrong, expecially when going thru the drive thru. I am not sure if the wind is a factor and they can't hear, but maybe they should ALWAYS repeat the order for accuracy instead of just drone out the total. However, it's wrong about 75% even when I go inside. I get a Venti Vanilla Latte. Every. Single. Time. Every. Single. Day. But hey, each day brings a surprise of what I am going to drink for my morning coffee. Sometimes it's a Vanilla Latte, sometimes it's a Hazelnut Latte, sometimes it just plain black coffee!! There are times I wait 30 seconds for my drink and some times it is upwards of 10 minutes. There seems to be about 4-5 employees there at all times, but only one is actually working. The others just stand around talking to each other while everyone is waiting for their drinks. None of the employees are very friendly (I've come to this Starbucks a minimum of six times a week for the past four years). I'll occasionally stop at other Starbucks in the area and they are far more friendly than this one.
I have also contacted Starbucks directly about the service level and employees they have here.
I only gave it one star because their bathroom is clean. -

Staff has always been very friendly to me. I go on a near daily basis when at work and the drive through is very convenient.
