Starbucks

I try to avoid Starbuck's for the most part. The coffee is expensive and the employees tend to make a ton of mistakes. Sure, there's the occasional "pro"barrista" that turns out a decent cup of Joe, but those are enigmas. Today's critique is of the store located at: 7311 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78216.

It was fairly empty. The staff was friendly enough.
The coffee was also decent.

The problem I had was the "RED velvet cake"

There was hardly any "red" at all and it was dry and (apart from the strangely "plasticine" icing) it wasn't sweet either.

A cardinal sin for all cakes.

I faithfully go to Starbucks everyday. My local Starbucks never gives me any issues. I asked this Starbucks for a venti water ( which it's hot in this target, I'm super pregnant , so i don't see it as an issue) I get water alll the time from many Starbucks with no issue. The worker here told me " we can only do grande for water " which is the dumbest thing I've heard. If you wanna charge someone for water or whatever do that lol, I just wanted my water. Idk if it's just this side of town having issues with that or what but I've never heard that before. Also the worker was very rude. As I left I said have a good day which is common courtesy and he said nothing back, just attended to the next person. I hope he's getting paid a nice lump some to be the water warrior and drink deputy of this Starbucks.

Code to The restroom is 28820, no drive thru but the people that work here work hard and get you in and out like the hamburger restaurant. Chill vibe inside. Parking can be a pain but just be nice and patient and all will be good

The cashier was so sweet and patient throughout my order. Loved how calm the ambiance felt as well. The best part is, my coffee was delish! Shoutout to Charlie! (I hope I spelled their name right)

The girls were really helpful and friendly. Went above and beyond on my order when I forgot to add non dairy milk. Recommend come stopping by here. Thanks ladies during Thursday lunch shift!!

I asked for light ice but 2/3 of my drink was ice and some of my drink was drained to make room for the ice.. Could do better

Great consistency with drinks and great baristas! My favorite time of the year is September when the pumpkin lattes come out, but any of the cold drinks are good thirst quenchers.

Yes. This is still one of the worst Starbucks. You order online go in and can see people walking in ordering at the counter and getting their drink. Whe you ask the barista for your Mobil order she gets offended goes to the printer and finds out she has like 5 order she has ignored. Then she is all Pi off making your drink that obviously is WRONG. what else can you expect. LoL

whoever made my drink the other day made it soooo good. Ever since that day no other Starbucks makes it that good! I got a matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla cream foam. BOMB Af! I should've got the name of the person who made my drink because it was delicious af!

Bad drinks and dirty place, the only fancy thing about this place is just "the name"

My coffee has to be remade, order mocha frappuccino, and was bad... Bad!

Stay away from this Starbucks, many better choices or just brew your coffee at home.
