We stopped in this great little place on our way from Glacier and on our way to the Grand Tetons. It was a perfect stopping place to break up our drive. The room was very clean with all of the things you'd want for an overnight stay, including an indoor pool, I don't like indoor pools but this one is in a room with one wall that is glass, so you feel more like you're outside. It was reasonably priced and had a continental breakfast that was better than most.
I'm a big fan of good service and this place has it. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the lady that was cleaning the rooms was very nice and invested in the quality of our stay.
I say enjoy Glacier until late afternoon, drive down and get some good rest here and head to Yellowstone or the Tetons in the morning. Good Stuff! -

Choteau is a small town and the Stage Stop Inn is a small town hotel. It's nothing fancy, the hanging light over the table and chair in the rooms reminded me of some kind of interrogation room. It's kind of a cheesy place.
I was however quite pleased with it. It's extremely clean. It does have most of the amentities I would expect at a similar hotel like a La Quinta or Motel 6. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, indoor pool, breakfast and meeting rooms. Very reasonable and a cool little find.
