I'm the opposite of in shape, so I'm not exactly a regular at any sort of gym. I've been here before though, to use the pool and was overwhelmed by its size. It's got a competition pool, leisure pool and diving towers and springboards. No wonder the Plex was host to the 1994 U.S. Olympic Festival aquatic events and the 2004 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials. All I remember is feeling like a guppie in it. It was also freezing!
The RecPlex is 230,000 square feet and even has an ice rink inside.
There's also a game room and cafe, gym, cardio theatre, weight room and aerobics classes (line dancing, anyone?).
