St. Johnsbury Athenaeum
1 review for St. Johnsbury Athenaeum
This place really is worth the trip if you are in the Northeast Kingdom. The very personable staff members can guide you through the major works of art, or else you can pick up a guide book and walk around on your own. An hour is more than enough time to enjoy the art. There's a small but quality gift shop where you can buy prints of the art on display and authentic Vermont gifts. I bought a print of Girl Reading by George Lambdin. I'd never seen it before, and it's now one of my favorite paintings.
