Review from Denise P.

Now it's $2.00 everything...and they've made the drinks weaker and smaller (blame the economy I guess). So if you come here, order straight up booze, Guinness, Magners and Black and Tans to get the most bang for your $2

Review from Alba R.
Cool place! I was surprised at how young the crowd was, but mellow.
The bartendars were very friendly. Extremely, cheap priced booze - you can't beat $2 drinks!!! It is a very low-key, casual place, but definitely not a dive bar. They have tables and a decent size bar. -

St James is a good go to spot. Better than a dive, but nothing to classy. Two dollar drinks, all day, every day.. and it isn't well drinks. Smirnoff, Absolute, Kettle One, Captain, Jack, Bud, Blue Moon on tap, a big selection! Attentive bartenders. Bar hands are fast to take away empties. Jukebox, darts, few tvs. One of the cleanest bars I've been too.

I walked in expecting a dive. I was surprised how nice this small bar was inside. It is not a dump like some other small store front bars in OIak lawn. The barteder was very attentive and the drinks reasonable. I walked over to check out the goal post after this visit
