I grew up in Old Louisville. I remember The St. James Court Art Show when it was just that, an art show. It has evolved into something more commercial and less artistic as the years have passed.
There are many more booths, spread over many more blocks (not just St. James Court), hawking items that just don't qualify as art. The knock off Coach handbags and cheap costume jewelry booths do not belong at this show.
I miss the days of yore when the booths were filled with gems by undiscovered artists with amazing talent.
