The rooms are small. I mean very small, like trip over your bed when you come in the door, small. That said the bathroom was surprising the larger part of the room. I stayed in their king suite which included a kitchenette. The room was super clean and soundproof. The bed was nice and plush with lots of pillows. The free wireless internet was a nice perk and I had no lag or trouble connecting from my laptop. I didn't care for the provided toiletries since smelt more manly and left a feeling of film on my skin. But since I packed in a rush and forgot my own soap, I had to use them. The only other thing I could call a complaint is that the only ice machine is on the ground floor near the lobby. I didn't try the included breakfast but I saw them prepping it and it looked nice. I would probably stay there again if I am ever in the area.
I had to go to Hershey for work, my team (about 5 of us) and I finally got in around 9 pm; if you are used to a big city, all you can think is, great a small town out in the country, how happening is this going to be? As we walked in, the manager immediately greeted us by our first names, she was expecting us and actually knew our first names.
Our first day there we had to sit around and wait for transactions to occur before we could continue with our project, we were not allowed to leave at all. We begged to go down to the Hershey Chocolate World, which takes about 3 min. to get there but nope they said. The manager of the hotel noticed our boredom; our day finally done of sitting around and we were able to leave for dinner. When we returned to our room the manager put together a complimentary gift bag for us to remember Hershey. We were pleasantly surprised with the quaint little town and the accommodations offered. We found some great little restaurants and a bar to occupy us for the night. If I ever go back, I would love to stay at this hotel. The customer service was absolutely perfect and I was completely surprised by the whole experience.
I enjoy staying at this hotel. The front desk is always very welcoming and will assist you in anything you need. They must have a top notch cleaning crew because it is always sparkling and the free breakfast bar is decent. Great area to stay in if you want to go to the Hershey Outlets or any of the attractions in Hershey.
