I was pretty satisfied with this hotel, room was spacious and clean, hotel was neat and the free breakfast was freekin' sweet, anything with the word free in it is awesome.
We stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise and we had to use the washer and dryer, the bf goes thru some wardrobe changes, LOL! Washer automatically uses detergent so no need to go out and buy some, how cool is that? COOL....
Close to stores and restaurants, Trader Joes and Barnes and Noble right accross the street.
We looked at the pool and gym, didnt really get to use them, it was a bit nippy to swim and we were tired from trying to adjust to the different time zones.
I would stay here again, especially at the great deal we got.
Like most other mentioned, this hotel is pretty good for its price.
pros:
- free internet (I only used the wired, because too lazy to get the wireless code from front desk)
- free breakfast, eggs, meat, yogurt, fruit and waffle. just don't expect too much
- nice gym and pool, the aerobic machines comes with it's own tv
- clean rooms
- great location
cons:
- old AC unit right next to the bed, pretty loud if you want to keep it running at night
- when the sofa bed is pulled out, it literately filled up the room, no walk way from door to bed. =\
more Pros than Cons, and since it's very affordable, I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 days last time I visited LA, and it was perfect. The location is convenient, the room is well insulated against sound (I didn't hear the train or traffic) and there is plenty of free parking (huge plus).
The suite was a little small, but then I remembered I only paid 80 bucks for it and I got free hi-speed with that - much cheaper than the Double Tree I stayed at in El Segundo last time, and just as good.
The bathroom layout was a little weird because the sink is outside the bathroom door. I have a bit of an issue with opening a bathroom door before I've had a chance to wash my hands (since that means other people have opened that same door without having a chance to wash THEIR hands).
On the plus side, this does mean that any visitors will wash their hands or you'll know it if they don't!

The price is pretty decent for LA and the hotel was awesome. The pillows were comfortable. I love the free hi-speed internet provided in the rooms. It wasn't too hot or too cold. Everything was clean. And the best of all was the free breakfast from 6-9am. They have everything from cereals, bagels, oatmeals, to eggs, sausage, and waffles! They really go out of their way to make their guests happy.
The only thing I don't like are the glass glasses in the rooms... I question their cleanliness after an expose I watched on the news. I would rather they had plastic disposable cups.
I travel a lot for work, so where I lay my head and spend my evening is hugely important to me. The company I work for won't pay for the Four Seasons, so I am always in search of something great within their budget. SpringHill Suites fits that bill when I am working in Perris. The lobby is clean, polished and fresh in design and decoration. The room is indeed a suite with a ncie seating area, a wet bar, microwave oven & fridge. (The fridge is massively crucial because I need to bring my own food to my trainings, if I eat the participant food daily for weeks on end, my clothing won't fit). The guy at the front desk was super friendly, saw my requisite bottle of wine in my tote bag and offered me a corckscrew. Naturally, I carrya corkscrew in my bag at all times because that's what professionals do). Linens are good quality, towels are fluffy and because it is a new hotel everything is in tip top shape. I removed one star because they don't have PPV movies. I would watch one every single day if they had the, so kinda huge fail.
However, the rest is golden. Thanks to Kristine G for recing it, she is the bestest!

Good hotel, reasonable breakfast, with many many youngsters around that morning.. Free parking, yet close to LAX.. Aerobic machines with tv, my wife enjoyed them.. Clean as to be expected, fair prize.,
For the class and category of hotel, this is the best of the best, in my opinion. Seriously. I have stayed in my fair share of hotels, and this is, BY FAR, one of the cleanest and nicest hotels that I've ever seen for under $100. Most of the time, you can't even find a hotel this clean for under $150!
No frills. And business oriented, which is where I'm most comfortable.
Did I mention CLEAN? I'm serious, because that is a top priority for me to get a good night's sleep. I don't want that "hotel smell" blasting me in the nose as soon as I open the door to the room. And I don't want my clothes to smell like I just stepped out of my hotel room.
I agree with another poster that it is not a true "suite".....that's correct. But, I wasn't in search of a suite...its just that they were offering a suite for $79, so I figured what the heck. I actually considered by-passing this hotel because it was all suites, because the last hotel that I stayed in that put me in a suite was a real disappointment.
I would like to stress that I felt that the hotel is geared toward the traveling professional. And it is right next to the Metro station. This isn't a place where you'd stay for a family vacation. This had a more professional feel to it.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
easy to find. nice and clean. i got a room with double beds and pull-out sofa. living room area, fridge, microwave, 2 tv's and a desk. nice comfy chair and ottoman to sink your bottom in.
hi-speed internet connection was so-so. i was tryin to enjoy my dinner while streaming heroes...that didn't work out too well.
the side door was broken...key card wouldn't work so i had to keep walking around to the front. that should be fixed asap.
staff was friendly. that's always a plus! :)

Booked this place for two nights at $79, which ain't too bad for the area. It's about 15 minutes to LAX, 10 minutes to the beach, on the east side of the Manhattan Beach/Hawthorne border. There's a strip mall across the street with a Trader Joe's; combined with the in-room fridge and microwave you can save on meals and still eat decently.
Evidently this is a good place for families, because there's a pull-out sofa in the room (it's not a "suite" unless there are at least two separate rooms -- with a door between -- IMO.) This means squealing, unruly kids sprinting down the hallways, but whatever. There's free wireless Internet access, which is a welcome change from the more upmarket expense account places I stay on business trips.
My chief gripe with this place was with the housekeeping. Stray hairs on the bathroom floor, wobbly desk legs, stained carpet, and sheets that don't stay on the mattress -- even when you're not having sex. I found an old can of chewing tobacco behind the nightstand while searching for an outlet; that was good for a laugh, but it did nothing to improve my opinion of the place.
The turnaround yard for the Metro streetcars is adjacent, so if you're on the south side of the building you're going to hear the screeching of the rails in addition to the screeching of the kids. I always travel with foam earplugs, so it didn't interfere with my slumber, but I could see it being a problem.
Our only interaction with the staff was at check-in, and they were obviously not excited to be there. We didn't try the breakfast buffet, but know they had one because the smell of pork products would waft into the room at about 7am.
All in all, you get what you pay for.

This place was OK.
I think it is only a 3 star hotel so that's what it gets.
Staff were nice enough.....usually. Jennifer at the front was nicest.
Continental breakfast was above and beyone what I expected. It was great. All day coffee and tea was nice.
OK and there is a washer and dryer whih came in handy since I was there 6 days.
Overall a good experience. I had noisy neighbors almost every night and that was a huge minus. I even moved rooms one night and the next room had noise as well- but not as bad.
I would stay again
I always stay in this place when I am in the Los Angeles area because it is always one of the cheapest Marriott locations and it's nice to have a fridge, living room area, 2 TVs, etc. It's also convenient - only about 10 minutes from my Thrifty car rental and not much farther to LAX. It's also just a few miles from the ocean. It's no wonder that the treadmills are never in use when you can instead go run on the Strand. It's right next to a TownePlace, but I've never stayed there. Nearby places to eat: Qdoba, Chipotle, McDonald's, San Sai
pretty good place for the price. i paid 99 dollars per night. theres some new shopping places near by. rei, office depot, frys electronics. there are also markets like whole foods. theres also a best buy and a shopping center close by. area is kind of out of place, but its nice, for the price it is a bargain. the room we had was big and spacious, 2 tvs and a mini fridge to keep your food in. theres also a free breakfast, which was not so good.
