This facility is top notch first-class. Bar, billiards, grill, put range, shooting range, spa, pool and not to mention a huge track! Not only for go karts, but your race car as well.

I just got back from my second trip to SMMR, as a member of the Southern California Audi Club. This place is GREAT. I'm accustomed to tracks with less turns (Willow Springs and Button Willow), so the 17 turns here require LOTS of memorization.
There's quite a few amenities here, but our focus was on driving, not swimming or using the putting green.
Memberships are pricey, too. I suggest joining a club such as the SCAC to gain access to this first-class facility. Now all I need is a tire sponsorship... -

just returned from the Corvette 3-day Level 1 course. What an absolutely outstanding time. The whole team at Spring Mountain is professional, courteous , and patient. Checking in with Donna is a breeze, and the condos on site are an excellent place to stay while attending the school.
Rick, the lead instructor, is very passionate about creating a safe and pleasurable learning environment. His entire team is focused on ensuring that every driver in the course walks out with knowledge of threshold braking, heel-toe downshifting, and a well tested line on the 2.2 mile main course.
The 10 turn 2.2 mile track has some interesting corners to learn over the course of your stay. Turn 4 is technical, but feels wonderful when you pull it off correctly. Turns 8, 9, and 10 either leads you onto the front straight with a smile, or cursing at yourself for missing the line, with the difference being staggering on exit speeds.
The facilities are excellent, the trainers are excellent, the cars are well maintained, and the track is very enjoyable to learn and drive. I'll definitely be back as soon as time allows to gleam more knowledge from Rick, Rod, Riccardo, Victor, and the rest of the teachers. If you're looking for a facility to sharpen your skills on the track, look no further. -

What more could you ask for? It's a guy's dream.
I've driven Corvettes on the track and ridden in a Radical. If you've never ridden in a Radical, I suggest you do it at least once in your life.....it's much more of a thrill ride than any roller coaster. You pull 3+ G's in the turns with a Radical.....insane!
There is nothing like this anywhere in the US....therefore it gets 5 Stars from me. There are other racing schools & private tracks, but nothing that offers all of the above.

Recently attended the 2- day Lotus Driving School at Spring Mountain and had a wonderful experience. From Registration to Graduation, the experience was excellent. Each excercises built upon the previous and after each short didactic session, you applied what you had learned in the actual car. This ultimately culminated into you being let loose for "open lapping" sessions at the end. Being my first time on a track and a new Lotus owner, the experience could not be beat. This course taught me a lot about driving my car and achieving balance at speed. What I had learned in two days was well worth the investment into the course. The facilities are top notch and ALL the instructors were patient and supportive...pushing you to your OWN limits.

I took the 3 Day Corvette Driving School at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch and it was fantastic! I learned so much from blipping, scanning, and just holding the steering wheel differently in turns that has improved my regular driving quite a bit. This is a great place for anyone who wants to have a little fun and drive fast! The new improvements to the track are amazing.
