This is one of the best bike shops in Boulder. It's a small shop, but the staff actually spend time with you to determine which is the best bike.

I spent an entire day going around to different bike shops in Boulder, and Sports Garage was the only shop that wanted to do a bike sitting before they sent me out on a ride. The result was an incredibly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend talking with Nick if you go there. He'll set you up, and send you home with a bike that will keep a smile on your face for years.

The Sports Garage hides in Boulder, but a cycling enthusiast should be sure to seek it out. The helpful staff and wide selection make it one of my favorite places to go. They offer, or at least used to, a somewhat different deal on new bikes; you get one year of free service as opposed to the traditional small adjustments for life deal. Is this worth it? You'll have to decide. But they offer fittings and an eclectic selection of bikes -the only Rocky Mountain dealer in Boulder, I think. They've also got Serotta for the roadies. I got a deal when I bought a whole new set of stuff, mountain bike, shoes, socks, etc, so I have no complaints. Don't know much about the ski and snowboard aspect, but for a bike, open up this garage.
