I go to this gym and its great. For only $20 a month and no contract its the perfect gym. There is no pool but its good anyways. This place has a lot of great people and i can't wait to go to the gym and greet them. The owner is a nice guy and I met him a few times. I been to a few gyms and this place meets all my standards.

In and out no problem.
$20/month who can go wrong with a gym membership
No contract what so ever, however with the month to month payment you can't go during the times of 4:30-8:30.  other than that no other restrictions.
They open early and close late.  I would not go to any other gym and pay for the outrageous pricing for the convenience of them being open for 24 hours when I can pay $20/month for almost the same thing.

Here's the deal with Sports Center Inc in Hayward, if you're looking for a gym that also doubles a meat market/social center, looking to take multiple different classes like yoga, or pilates, or whatever the latest work out craze is, someplace that has multiple membership to hundreds of gyms across the country, and need a gym that is nice new and modern, then this is not the gym for you.

So then why should I join Sports Center Inc in Hayward?  First and foremost reason, membership is $20 month with a year long commitment.  I've look at a lot of gyms when I was considering a gym membership, I haven't found a place that is within a 15 drive of my home and has all the equipment that I need that can offer membership at $20 month.  Second, if you're like me, you know what you want to do, they have all of the equipment to do it in.  While most of their stuff isn't the latest and greatest equipment, I'm not working out on a machine that was made in the 80s either.  I would say most of their stuff is probably within 5 years old.  Whether it's with the machines or the free weights, they have enough equipment there so most of the time you don't feel like you're sitting there waiting for a machine to be free.  Third, there is a distinct smell to the air in here, and what's that smell... it's the smell of sweat and people working out.  People come here to get their work out on and then they go.  No much socializing here as far as I can tell, which to be honest, is just fine with me.  I'm there to build a sweat and work out, not to trade brownie recipes with you.

Yeah, I've been to way nicer gyms like Club Sports, Bally's, and 24 Hour Fitness.  And Sports Center Inc is an older gym that sometimes seems a bit disorganized, and doesn't necessarily attract the beautiful/upscale people, but heck at $20/month what are expecting.  For me, I can go in, get my 1-hour work out and get out, well that's all that I'm interested in.
