I went here for snow gear for my kids. After a bad experience with Big 5, I hoped for better luck.
This store is huge, they have everything. They had a great selection of snow gear and most of it was on Sale @ 30% off. I flagged down a salesperson for help. She actually helped me pick out everything I needed, made recommendations and found the right sizes.
I needed boots as well. She did not handle those but took me to another salesperson and told them what I needed assistance with. I left with everything I needed and felt I got a great deal.
I have been in this location before, finding help is sometimes a problem, but once you get it, they seem to be very helpful.

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Well I must be certifiable because I found myself in this damn store again.
Same as it ever was... But wait, you know I DID get a "different result"...
One star service instead of two.

For some strange reason (prolly by default 'cuz it's in Santa Clarita) this Sports Chalet is suuuuper lame.
They are ALWAYS "sold out" of my size in everything i want or need or have to have for no particular reason at all other than just that I have to have it. With out fail.
I went yesterday to get some rollerblades ~ I know what you are thinking... I don't know what got into me... i just had a craving for rollerblades... maybe i'm prego ... syke!
Anyway back to this review... they were out of EVERY style in my size. I was really bummed, but then decided to try the next size up (my sales person neglected to inform me that they run a size small) and it fit!
I was stoked... and actually walked out of this Sports Chalet excited.
And to top it off I found a gift card with 7 bucks left on it.
I love when that happens.
I have been bladding in the park at night ~ Jax has never been so tired!

I can't really put my finger on what's wrong with this place. There never seems to be anyone around when you need them. The staff just seems to have better things to do.
I'd rather drive 30 min to another location.
