Since moving to College Station I have been waiting for this moment. A true Yogurt Bar. I was fortunate enough to have three when living in Arizona and now  there is a proper one in College Station, is is call Spoon's Yogurt, and it is delicious.
The concept is simple, you get a cup, fill it up with yogurt (there are 12 flavors to chose from), add toppings for it (about 12 fresh fruits and a whole bunch of other goodies, like cheese cake pieces, nuts, sprinkles, gummy bears, and even Cap'n Crunch cereal), weigh it (it is .39 cents an ounce), and then eat the goodness of mixing flavors! I for example had the original tart with cake batter with strawberry yogurt, I had gummy bears, cheese cake pieces, gram cracker dust, almost slivers, kiwi, and strawberries in it, the whole thing cost 5 dollars ( I went a little nuts, in the past at places like this it usually costs me about 3.50, but I was so happy to have a proper yogurt place). The Yogurt was cold and fresh and flavorful, the toppings looked great and fresh, and they were very friendly and helpful to provide a tasting cup to try the different flavors of yogurt.
Basically this is a perfectly run Yogurt Bar that was delicious and refreshing. The concept blows Cold Stone and Marble Slab out of the water because you can get as many mix ins as you want and not get charged per different mix in. If i get 4 oz of walnuts that would be the same price as 4 ounces of butterfingers, m&ms, cocnuts, and pineapple. If you have never been to a Yogurt bar you have to try this place out. It was worth the wait, and it was delicious!

Okay, this place is waaaaay overhyped. In my opinion, Yogurtland is much better.

The yogurt selection is not that great - some of the flavors taste weird and extremely artificial. However, their peanut butter yogurt is delicious!!! I would go back if they had it every day =)

They have a little frequent user stamp card too that can be useful if you're a yogurt junkie.

Just tried Spoons for the first time.  Had the Peanut Butter flavor...  To me...nothing magically better than most froyo places like some Spoons fans rave...but very good froyo in a cool atmosphere served up by a friendly staff!  The people working there were VERY nice ;-)

Just a quick review update.  The General Manager E-Mailed me through yelp to mention their selection of fruits, let us know that the purchase them fresh daily and to mention that the only flavor they have which contains High Fructose Corn Syrup is Cookies & Cream as the Oreo Cookies contain HFCS.

    Thumbs up!

This place is a dream come true for Aggieland! It's a quick line yet with an array of yummy options! Their soft serve is so rich in flavor! With flavors from Pistachio, Raspberry, Acaî, to your classic chocolate vanilla swirl, there's something for everyone! And the great thing is that you don't have to just choose one, you can choose them all if you wish! Next is the fruit bar... not just raisins and strawberries but kiwi, peaches, blackberries... it's vast! Even after that, you get to the fun dry toppings, i.e. all kinds of nuts, cereals, sprinkles, candies, etc. Top them off with your favorite syrups and you're ready to go! I've made some pretty big cups to go and I think I've topped out at $5.50... so the prices are bad either! It's a fun place to go to fulfill your sweet tooth cravings on any given day...or night!

First of all, it looks tile-for-tile EXACTLY like another froyo place I've been to, it's eerie. There are only about 10 flavors to choose from (but I hear they rotate them weekly, which is impressive). They had more sweet than tart flavors on the day I went. Which is fine, but sometimes the sweet flavors just don't come across right, which was the case with their vanilla and chocolate. I ended up going with cheesecake and strawberry and moseyed on over to the toppings bar to discover they didn't have any peanuts! WUT? Peanuts were the one thing I was looking forward to! But I settled for some fresh bananas and a few oreo crumbles. The banana and cheesecake combo was surprisingly delicious. I did notice that there were way more cereal choices to top your cup than any froyo place I'd ever been to. I could see how that would work well in a town filled with college students.

I think the reason this place is so highly rated is because it's pretty much without competition in this town... which is the same reason I'd go back next time I'm there.

The problem of yogurt to me was the weird sour taste on all flavors. I'm not saying I don't like sour taste, but sour vanilla?! sour cream n' cookies?! sour chocolate?!....so weird!!

Spoons Yogurt surprised me that it tastes so good without the unnessisary sour taste on them. It tastes just as good as ice cream, but better for your health.

This place is delicious, but always very loud and crowded.  There are competitors with just as many toppings, just as many flavors, and the same trendy vibe with lower prices and a less obnoxious environment.

I had a craving for yogurt on a hotish May day during the week between finals and summer school when College Station's population drops by 30,000 and this place was not empty! About half of the tables were full around 5 in the evening. It was a weird time but still had a constant flow of customers and I understand why now that I had the yogurt.

First off they had tons of flavors! And it was a wide varity. Creamy, fruity, rich, it was great! I mixed mango sorbet with cake batter. Then there were lots of toppings! Lots of fresh fruit and sugary items to add. Then something I haven't seen other yogurt places have were 9 different syrups to add! There were also nuts and cereal to top with.

Then when it came time to pay I was a little scared since I had been pretty liberal with my yogurt and toppings but it came out to $3.50! I would say I had filled my cup around 1/3 to 1/2 full. It was so tasty!!! I added blueberries and tiny chocolate chips to my yogurt.

The atmosphere is really nice too. They had chairs inside and outside. The workers were really nice and helpful. I can't wait to go back! Its a great way to cool off during the summer!

I was contacted by one of their employees on Yelp to inform me that they now have mochi bites and have introduced green tea and pomegranite to their flavor rotation :) How sweet is that? I'm very impressed!

Luckily, I was visiting College Station around the same time she sent the message. The next day, the boy and I drove to Spoons to grab a cup of fro-yo topped with mochi bites. It was 95F outside and this was sweet, cold perfection.

So good! Try the cake batter with cheesecake bites......uhmygoshh!
CS needed something like this, but WOW there can be a line at any given time! My only complaint would be that they either need to expand their current space to accommodate more customers, or open another location.

Yum!!!! Yogurt by the ounce with all the gummi bears (or fruit or...) you care to add. Oh my goodness! And as the seasons change so do the flavors (summer: blueberry, fall: pumpkin, Christmas: egg nog...). Love it! This is a very popular hang out for uni students, families, and everyone in between. (They offer rewards program for frequent tasters). I tastes so good that it reminds me of the fat-free froyo Seinfeld episode. (IS it fat-free?)

I love Spoons.  LOVE.  It has tons of flavors that they rotate around, tons of toppings, and plenty of syrup/honey type toppings.  If the fruit you see doesn't look fresh enough, tell them and they will gladly go to the back to cut you some!  It's also extremely cheap, I can load up on toppings and still be under $5.  If you show up and the line is out the door, don't leave!  The line looks like that almost all day, but it goes by super fast.  Bottom line, you have to go here!

Very good frozen yogurt. Many good flavors. They even offer fresh fruit toppings at their self-serve toppings bar. Much healthier food than the traditional ice-cream offered at Cold Stone or Marble Slab.

This place is the best place to go in College Station-hands down!  Just walk in, choose what size cup you want, fill it up with all the different toppings and flavors of yogurt, and then pay by weight.  They had so many different flavors of yogurt to choose from that I took some of everything.  Then I got to the toppings and just went crazy.  No joke, they had to have at least thirty different types of toppings.  I just couldn't believe it.  While this place isn't expensive, if you get the biggest size cup and fill up on all the yogurt and toppings like I did my first time, it can add up.  But, it is VERY worth it!  I don't even feel like five stars is enough for this place!!!

If the lines are long, don't sweat it! They go by very fast and the music is always good, so a little wait isn't a pain.

I've been to a lot of other frozen yogurt places....like orange cup, summerberry, etc. and I have been the most impressed with spoons! There is a flavor and topping for everyone; from healthy and fruity to anyone craving candy toppings and cheesecake bites! They also rotate their flavors and are very supportive of local organizations.

Spoons always hits the spot for me, and their "frequent spooner" cards make it nice to get some free fro-yo! The t-shirts are also cute and cheap :)!

Don't be turned away by the long lines! They move fast and the short wait is definitely worth it. I love this place and stop by often. I love that they offer sorbet every day and have a variety of fresh fruit toppings. Their rotating flavor menu means that nearly every trip to Spoons is different. It's made me try new flavors that I wouldve otherwise missed out on. Give it a try! Blueberry/Acai and Raspberry Pomegranate are great flavors.
