Review from Mitch K.
Corvallis, MT
Not quite Mall of America, but this is quite a large complex of stores and surrounding restaurants, bars and other services. Stores are about what you would find anywhere now-a-days in America. Anchor stores are Macy's, Penny's and Sears, so it is fairly pedestrian.
A Mexican restaurant and an Chinese restaurant have their own places in addition to a food mall of about a dozen eateries.
As an outside visitor I notice that the people are neatly dressed and clean. Children, esp teenagers, are well behaved. The Mall is clean. Quite a commentary on the local area and the people who live in western Washington.
In addition to the Mall you are within 20 miles of Coeur d'Alene, ID and less than 10 miles from downtown Spokane, which still has a viable downtown area of shops, services and eateries. -
Review from Matt R.
Edmonds, WA
It's a mall. It is what it is. It's got Spencer's, Hallmark, Electronics Botique, and a bunch of overpriced crap. And Cinnabon, the most unhealthily delicious food known to man! They've also got a pretty good movie theater with new extra-comfy seating.
Here's the thing: their parking lot was designed by inbred monkeys. The ratio of cars exiting and entering vs. number of stop signs and weird-angled intersections is dangerous and aggravating. It's nearly impossible to get in to and just as hard to leave. I don't completely hate going to malls, but I really like leaving malls. Sadly, there isn't anything to do about it as it's pretty much set in stone and they keep adding in more businesses around it.

Review from Alli D.
I'm going to go ahead and be the 3rd Seattle Yelper to review this mall.
As far as malls go, this one is pretty decent. At least I wasn't accosted by kiosk employees trying to straighten my existing hair while affixing a fake ponytail, while setting me up with Clearwire and putting a new leopard-print cover on my cell phone, while dousing me with perfume and adorning me with dreamcatcher earrings.
And they have an Azteca, where I spent the majority of my time.Listed in: Spokane Grab Bag

I have to negate Matt's review. (Sorry Matt!)
To be honest, I have no reason for loving this mall so much. It's a disproportionate love, not actually based on facts. It's unexplainable; I don't really even like malls. But I like this one!
I think it's because I'm always visiting family when I go here (I mean - srsly - why else would I go to SPOKANE?), so I'm on vacation/happy, I like to get away after being with people 24/7 so it's a nice mini-break, and I always leave this mall with cute stuff, generally on sale. It's got your standard multitude of mall stores, and I like the 2-tiered layout. (Similar - vaguely - to Bell Square, but not nearly as awesome, o'course.)
Like I said - I don't know why. I just do. So there.Listed in: MALL.
