This is a review of the water park called Splash Beach. Based on the number and quality of attractions I would say this is an average water park at best. And especially for the price, about $27/person. But, this is the only water park around Birmingham and the kids always have a great time.
The attractions include one tube slide, a long straight slide, toilet bowl slide, lazy river, wave pool, and a water play area where a bucket of water is dumped every 5 minutes. The tube slide is named the Black Widow and it consists of four different slides. The wave pool is unique because it has a real sand beach. The park is not very big so it can become very congested and the wait queues can be long.
The service at the concession stands is extremely slow and frustrating.
