I hold this place dear to my heart, not only because I met my boyfriend here but DJ Eser rocks it out with 80's music whenever we go. If you're looking for a fun dive bar that plays rad music to make you dance- search no more. Wednesday nights are the night to go no cover.

Spike's is a cool place to catch a few bands and grab a brew. I love that you can play pool for free. There is a cover when bands play $10. There is hot dog cart outside if you get hungry. This is not a place for everyone. Leave your Ed Hardy gear at home. The neighborhood is not shady that's just my opinion. I can show you shady.

Review from Thelma D.
Covina, CA
I spent a Halloween here once, many, many, moons ago. So, I've returned a couple of times since then.
Everybody says the neighborhood is shady, which is not the case. I don't park in the lot because it's small, and people double park all the time. I park on the street, but then again nobody is going to try and steal my bucket.
There's a lot of regulars that frequent Spike's. It's free on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Tuesdays and Thursdays- are karaoke nights and they also have a pool tournament. There are six pool tables. Karaoke nights are a riot.
Wednesdays - The Breakfast Klub nights- great selection of music.
Fridays- They have live bands, Psychobilly, Punk, Garage etc.
Every LAST FRIDAY is Club Shadow which plays rock en español.
Ska Night EVERY LAST SATURDAY of the month.
Generally, it's a good time. The place isn't large, but it doesn't need to be. The bathrooms are decent. The alcoholic beverages are hit and miss, it depends on the bartender. The dance floor is always lively, and gets better as the night goes on. See the thing is, I like the atmosphere, I like the peeps. Friendly banter, no snobs, and good music. Can't beat it. Usually I go with one other friend, sit there, drink and talk. I like watching people drunk dance, and sing while they are wasted. Good times. -

Went on a Friday night. $10 cover. I hate covers, but if the place is worth it I'll return. I don't think it was worth it.
There was a band singing Heroes del Silencio songs. They were not good. Not sure if that's why they were charging $10. The dj was okay, played a few songs I had never heard played in a club/bar before.
They stamp your hand, but then they say that there are no ins and outs. Wtf I paid ten bucks!! We did it anyway, depends on the security person I guess.
The drinks aren't too pricey and decently strong, but why does it have to be a $20 minimum to use a credit card? Not a huge deal I guess, but still kinda lame.
It smells a little bad, but nothing too foul. The crowd was chill, full of rockeros and Greaser type people. Nobody caused trouble which was nice.
I wouldn't go back unless it was free or maybe $5. It wasn't terrible, but I don't think it was worth the price. -

WARNING: This is long, so if you're like...dumb, or something, and don't like reading, ignore this.
Ok, so I've been here a few times, i gave it 3 stars but its really 3.5
i like it for the music, they play a lot of 80's stuff here, me likey a lot.
I also like the type of girls that come here, im probably not their type though :( but i like checking them out either way, there are plenty of hot mommas there despite getting ignored by them most nights
I had a semi bad experience here with the bartender once...So apparently on "event" nights, there's a $20 minimum for opening a tab....hmm ok, kind of weird, but whatever.
So one night i came to the bar that happened to have an "event", on a wednesday (wtf right?), i open a tab and the bartender makes me a drink, except when she gives me the drink, she then warns me that last call is in 10 minutes, it was barely 12:50 am (wtf right?) so im like "ok whatever" she then warns me that if i don't reach the minimum I have to go in the next day and pick up my credit card and license....yeah ok, this would have been useful information BEFORE taking my shit and making me the drink.
So there i am, standing like an idiot freaking out and listening to 80's music at the same time.
i'll just buy my lady friend i was with some drinks, EXCEPT she was done for the night, she wasn't even drunk, so she was turning down free drinks (wtf right?)
So i had to think fast...so i come up with a very smart idea, and for the guys reading this, consider this a very useful tip for picking up girls at a bar, and best of all, it's free, im not charging you guys anything for this bit of info :D
I notice a girl at the bar, who happens to be very cute, and i see her trying to open up a tab, so i quickly rush to her and tap her on her beautiful shoulder and say
me: "excuse me, you know what, can i buy you whatever drink you're gonna order right now"
and for a second i heard
girl 1: "oh no, its ok..."
but i quickly shut her up and explained my situation, and i basically told her i just wanted to reach the minimum and told her it wasn't a good idea to leave her id and card at the bar. So she agrees and thanks me a million times, even tells me that im real cool, blah blah blah, im like
me: "yeah its cool dont worry"
she then responds
girl 1: "no no, im serious, you're such a gentleman, i dont find a lot of nice guys like you, thanks!"
she then says if she ever bumps into me again in the future that she'll buy me a drink, so i decide to see how far i can go with this, and say
me: "well im not here a lot..."
you know, trying to imply for us to exchange numbers...well it didnt work, she just said
girl 1: "well neither am i, but if i ever see you again, i'll buy you a drink"
....whatever
She leaves to dance, and i go back to my amiga...we talk and i realize that i still havent reached my minimum...i notice the girl that i bought a drink for had a friend, who was also cute, so i go back to them on the dance floor and tell the chick
me: "hey does your friend want a drink too?"
she says yes, she tells me the name of the drink she wants, and i play dumb and act like im having trouble remembering the name, i ask her what it was and she was like
girl 2: "let me go with you"
sweet :)
this was a test, i faked my dumbness, i wanted her to go with me to the bar, totally worked, i think she was into me, when we started talking, she shook my hand and started rubbing my fingers...then for some reason she shook my hand a few minutes later again and did the same thing :)
anyways, i buy her a drink, and her friend comes back, the girl i originally spoke to. Ok, she seems a little tipsy at this point, and i guess she decides to take advantage of me and mentions how she wants another drink...i would have said no, but...then she smiled at me, and like the fucking idiot that i am, gave in and got her another drink.
Ok at this point im ready to close out my tab, im with 2 cute girls at the bar, and the night is ending...well i tell them that i hope they enjoyed their [free] drinks and started initiating the goodbye speech. But before i said good bye, the girl i first spoke with said
girl 1: "omg you're so cool, we totally have to hangout again, do you have a phone?"
me: "well actually i..."
girl 1: "give me your phone! Im gonna put my number in it"
me: : )
So i get her number, and as cute as she was, i was kind of into her other friend more. But i mean come on, its not like i could have turned around and asked for the other girls number...it wouldn't look cool. but i'll just play it safe and see what happens....
She probably just gave me her number and won't talk to me again...seems to happen a lot. Anyways, it was a good boost to my self esteem thats for sure.
So yeah, this bar brings in a good crowd, i don't really give a flying fuck about the guys at this bar though. But the girls are usually cute. hope you enjoyed my silly little story. -

I'm torn about this place.
On one hand, they play 80s music... Cramps, old school Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Smiths and this makes me happy.
On the other hand, it's cash only and the drinks are really pricey for being a hole in the wall, gross, never soap in the restroom (the three times I've been there), bartender's hate their job attitude and shady neighborhood where you don't want to take your car for the fear of it being stolen.... -
Review from Lucia C.
This may be the only dive bar that exists in Rosemead.
And it isn't full of Asian people. ;]
And it has an 80's night.
I think it may exist for an older crowd though.
In my 'hood, but not my 'thang. -

Okay so I'm giving Spike's in Rosemead one star. And I'm going to cut through the bullshit and tell you why: Because they don't let you have free tap water. They say they "can't" give tap water and that if you "want" water, it comes in bottled form and it's two bucks. I don't "want" water, I "need" water. This is America and in this country, water is a human right! Particularly if you already spent a shitload of money at the establishment earlier in the evening! Do they WANT people to drive home drunk? I guess they do, unless you agree to line their pockets.
Can you imagine if a restaurant refused to provide water? All a stupid little dive bar like Spike's has to do is get an igloo jug, fill it with water and put it on the end of the bar countertop with some plastic cups. The bartender doesn't even have to serve anybody for it! In any environment where patrons are consuming alcohol, water should be provided. It should be law. I find this bar's policy completely reckless and irresponsible. I hope they get their ass handed to them by means of a lawsuit of some sort. -

Wanted to play pool after dinner down the street. Been a while since I have been something quite this divey, but it did the trick. Friendly staff behind the bar, cold beers and some tables. Didn't need any more than that.

Cool dive bar and billiards joint.. Been here twice. Pretty big place on the inside. As you walk in you see the dance floor in front of you, and the 4 billiards tables to the right. On the left, is the whole bar, all along the wall.. Prices on drinks are pretty reasonable. Cash is preferred, but they do take credit cards. Restrooms are pretty clean, but rather small. Free parking. **be advised, we came here on a Sat. and parked on the street, and my friends car got broken into** So try and park in the parking lot.
Otherwise, Weds are pretty cool, its 80's night. The crowd this wednesday was pretty chill.. Good music.
Would definitely come back.... -
Review from Geneva W.
My favorite place to listen and dance to obscure 80s would have to be Spike's on Wednesday nights. The DJs are awesome and play a great mix of new wave, dark wave, and synth pop. It's impossible not to dance when you come here unless you're allergic to musical goodness.
There's plenty of free parking, no cover, and mixed drinks are pretty cheap so it's great if you're on a budget. The bartenders are really nice and usually quick to take your order, but it can take awhile to get a drink when it's crowded.
The crowd is very chill and friendly...I've never encountered rude drunk idiots that you normally come across at other places. The ladies' bathroom is usually clean but GOOD LORD it's hot as balls in there! I'd avoid it if at all possible unless you want your makeup to run.
Overall, Spike's is a great little no-frills dive bar that's great for small or large groups and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that plays great 80s music.Listed in: An Alcoholic's Wet Dream, Dancing With Myself

Reseda, CA
Spike's Bar & Billiards, has been my watering hole for the last 6 years now. Located in Rosemead California off the 10 fwy off the Del Mar exit at the intersection of Garvey, this bar had been apart of the community for over 100 years. Every night there is an event that goes on there with Brando VonBadsville, DJ & promoter of spike's who hosts his nights Monday: Rhythm & Booze (Rockabilly Night) & Rev It Up (Garage, Rock, Punk Nights) both with live bands on the bill.
Wednesday is the night I look forward to, Wednesday night, The Breakfast Klub; is their 80's night, with all the 80's clubs out there in hollywoood.
Spike's offers more in a bar scene setting club atmosphere minus the VIP line or bottle service, egos and attitude are left at the door and dress code isn't affliction attire. 6 pool tables and fully stocked bar and bartenders that can really make you a drink. The staff and security are well run and professionals at best minus the prick attitudes that high end clubs security.
Now to the music, simply put: this isn't Beat It or The Hully Gully so don't expect your run of the mill jukebox DJ's or pop trendy 80's tunes. The Breakfast Klub has been playing what they want to play and what they want is what the crowd likes. Resident DJ's: Eser (Promoter of TBK & Got 80's?), VonBadsville, Mike Primitive & Dunkin'Dave, play the best in the 80's scene: synth pop, new wave, obscure, darkwave and post punk. Saturday nights once a month is club vicious hosted by Edward Transylvania, this night plays host to the deathrock, Goth and darkwave, with live bands and djs. You wont find another place like spike's in la.
They offer you the alternative to the hustle and image driven club scene of Hollywood. Admission is free on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Fridays are door cover nights. If you want to go some place that is laid back and mellow, Spike's offers this to you. -

Los Angeles, CA
Place is really fun! Worked a few nights there as a burlesque dancer, go-go dancer, and pinup model. Always had a great experience! It's very much out of the way since I live in W. LA but this place is worth it if you like punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, and rock n roll and 80s nights. They often have drink specials which is great when wanting to save money but still get your drink on! Live bands and DJs frequent weekly. Keep in mind that it's a cash only place, but they do have an ATM machine. The bathroom situation is cramped and small. Outdoor smoking area in the back and they have a large parking lot out back as well. The surrounding area is somewhat sketchy ... just be smart. A place where you can get your dance on, enjoy live music and DJ'd music, drink specials, appetizers, (upstairs pool room), and there's also table and chairs to sit at aside from the bar stools.

Okay so I went to Spike's in rosemead this past wednesday for 80s/new wave night. And boy did I have a blast for my first time.
As soon as I entered I saw pool tables to my right, bar to my left, and center stage was the dance floor. So I said okay...this is standard for an 80s spot, that is sorta a hole in the wall that is FREE to get into. The crowd range from greaser kats and dolls, punks, tattooed kats, and a few goth kids. Music as you would guess range from 80s - new wave- post punk and so on. And they also did an hour tribute to the cramps. The music was decent and there was always peeps dancing. Bathroom..well for the ladies..there is one toilet and no door..but a curtain. haha. But it was clean! Parking could be better...very small and close. But I wouldnt park on the street so get a spot in the lot! There is a nice hot dog lady thats right outside the club if you get hungry OR if you are in the club, they sell chips at the bar. Kinda cool.
where else can you play pool, dance to 80s, buy chips at the bar, and just chill? ha
good job spike's! -

Spikes Bar and Billiards has a Little something for the "dive bar enthusiast" in all of us. Almost everyday of the week you can find a different theme and a different drink special going on . with their well over 50 different types of beer and bartenders who can cook up all sorts of crazy concoctions you'll be wondering why you hadn't been here before. Free pool all night long with six tables to choose from. free parking and staff that keeps an eye out for the cars and the customers .
Mondays usually consist of good o'l RnR, rockabilly,doo-woop, obscure rockabilly, oldies, and a good rockabilly / greaser crowed.
Tuesdays is just like any other day with a couple of the regulars their shooting pool, more mellow regular folks. Wednesdays are happening!! especially if you are an 80's fanatic!!!! their is no cover the beer is fairly priced and alcohol specials and a dance floor are sure to bring you back next Wednesday. And there is no cover on Wednesday, which means a few more bucks in your pocket or one more drink for your liver ......
Thursdays are full of "RADICALS RADIO". This is a fairly new event that Spikes has started doing on Thursdays....... Its slowly piking up and is sure to be another cool spot and a crowd pleas er for all . Its a no cover night with DJ's playing NEW WAVE,PUNK,SKA,REGGAE, SOUL ,and request of course. 3$ red-stripes are available this night.
FRIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!! Are my favorite nights to go to this place. Live bands and good crowds on Fridays. Yes there can be a heavy greaser crowd but none the less nothing to be worried about. Their is a cover on Fridays ranging from 5-10 bucks depending on who's playing but you'll be able to see some great local and not so local bands. Music ranges from rock to punk to rockabilly and to anything that rocks!!!!!! parking is free this and every night and so is the pool......... so get ready to rev-it-up on Fridays
Saturdays is a dress code in forced night. its free and nothing beats free. With DJ'S spinning everything from hip-hop to salsa, reggaton, and just dance music. so If what you wanna do is dance and go out to a cool spot , then Saturdays is definitely the day. I recommend it for kike small party's or for a b-day type of celebration.....
well this is my review on spikes , I'm a regular here and enjoy this place very much....... I know there's better places but I'm a dive bar type of person and enjoy the time i spend at spikes . You might catch me there on a Sunday with the karaoke going strong :) -

Denver, CO
Its a neighborhood local dive bar, and a place to meet people in the likeness of the cast of grease... true. But if you know a little who's who in there, the evening can be rather enjoyable. I too stand out, I'm the good looking one with long hair "ha!". Drink prices are usual, its dim lit smoke filled room, the people are tight knit; definitely not the place you wanna start belligerent bar brawl unless you like the taste of boots and plenty of them. But if you're there to meet people, in my experience it helps to stand out from the rest... so feel free to leave your pomp at home.
* Just a side note, you're more likely to catch me on a Sunday. That evening is chill, usually regulars on a more slow paced night and enjoy the environment and rock out on karaoke. good times...* -

Review from Hamed M.
I'll start out by saying that I wouldn't go back.
I didn't enjoy the music or the crowd. There is a dancefloor in the middle, surrounding by bar-style seating. ONE person was dancing by herself, while everyone else just sat around. Not the social bunch, I guess.
There are a few pool tables on one side, but if you're going to go out to play pool, go to a real pool hall, not this poor excuse for a fusion.
I was way out of place, too. Everyone had greased up hair and was wearing super tight clothing. I felt like I was in the movie Grease. -

This place is good for the drunk in all of us...
When you don't have to work on Thursday or you just don't work, come on down to the dirtiest grease ball bar around (besides Yesteryear's) on Wednesday night. If you're lucky you might pick up a drunken mess (if her boy friend isn't hiding in the shadows just waiting for someone to make a move so he can have an excuse to fight and practice all those moves he's been studying from "The Outsiders")...
In the end, this place is tits!..( When you were able to smoke it up inside...) The music is great, the drinks are stiff and the entrance is free. What more can you ask for? -

Went here last night to see The Joneses. I liked it a LOT. Cover charge was only $8- not bad. Wide variety of beers, I got a Rolling Rock and a Boddingtons. Easily found a place to sit, on the bar side next to the DJ who was actually spinning VINYL instead of doing it from computer, something you don't see much anymore! Yay!!
It really reminded me of Vegas, with the smoking inside (even though I smoke, I can't get used to doing it inside, freaks me out) and the behind the stage tinsel curtain. I'll go back if there's a band I really want to see, because it's FAR away from where I live, but it's a good place.
They get an extra star for having a street dog vendor outside the whole night, nothing like a greasy bacon wrapped wiener after a long night of drinking!! -
Review from Virginia K.
Whittier, CA
They have decent drink specials. The dance floor is small but I like that it has the bar seating around the dancefloors so that I can steal dance moves ahahah
I don't like that you can smoke inside (I have horrible allergies and the morning after I'm like dying...)
The bathroom is small and it gets like a sauna in there.
I always have fun here, even if it's just me and a few good friends.
They have a hot dog lady outside sometimes ahahah
Oh they have an ATM! they do not accept credit cards... -

Ok. Its' a Dive Bar
The Decor isn't so great.
But if Marc Almond and obscure 80's music makes you come! THEN IT IS FREAKIGN GREAT! :D And omg. Rock-a-billy guys!
Um. I went last month on Marc Almond night, it was a great to see his videos on there and his music. :D squee!
The drinks are good. and the crowd is actually very friendly. :D -

Rosemead, CA
This is the typical local's dive bar. Fun, loud music, smoke filled, raunchy (in a good way). The crowd is very rockabilly/50's/tattooed. Nice place to meet the locals and always friendly. I always say "if your not enjoying a place, it's probably you". Spike is one of those places. Drinks are reasonable, but on a busy night there can be a wait to get to the bar.
Wednesday night is the signature night. Wish I could make it there more often. -

Wednesday's kick ass!!! They play the best 80's, Dark Wave, Obscure, Post Punk, Synth Pop, New Wave, etc. etc. Cheap drink specials, dance floor, and pool tables. Miss the Taco lady that used to post up out front. Now they have Hot Dogs which are alright. Try to park in a single parking space not those double ones or else you have to move your car which can get annoying.

"You promise ?"
This is what I texted my friend while I stood at the bar enjoying a Miller High Life.
Little did she know that I was at the bar she enjoys the most, this side of the 710. I was at Spike's, and I totally forgot to call her to see if she wanted to go with, hell, I was excited to be going. I was hoping she wouldn't get mad and hit me square on the head next time she saw me.
I hadn't been to this place like in, foreva !! The last time I came here, I was soooo piss drunk, I totally forgot what it looked like on the inside. Truthfully, I would've kept this place in the back in my memory, if i hadn't met this bloke who told me he spins here on Mondays.
So this place is pretty cool, it's kinda low key, got these local kids who grease the hair, ladies that fishnet their legs, and Jezebels that paint the reddest of lips, woo-wee !!
I've read some of the other reviews and their pretty spot on. There are a few pool tables, if that's your speed. They also have this dance floor in the middle of the place so that you can twirl your lass about or be spun if that's what you desire !
They also appears to be a Rockstabilly music venue. While I was sipping on a few beers, I noticed there were posters and fliers plastered about the spot. They were announcing show for the following 2 weekends, and we're talking about some pretty known acts in the realm that is this greasy culture. So that's another plus in me book !
My only reservation about the spot was the price of them beers !! Man, I was throwing down $4 for a High Life, come on now, really ? But whatevs, nothing major, I would prolly deduct 1/2 star for that, but since I can't, my rating stays where it is.
Honestly, this might become my Monday night routine, I just gots-tah dust off my Lindy - Hop moves and get to it !!! So, are you down ? Ya wanna come with or what ? And don't come with them Grease jokes, or I will sock ya in the kisser, I really loath that movie.
So, Benny, here's to you,

100% due for an update.. this is by far one of my boyfriend and I favorite spot for a Wednesday Night.. doesn't hurt that we met here..From the last time I came here on a Saturday night close to a year ago to coming on a Wednesday is a 360 degree change in music, people and vibe, chill dive bar, pool hall, bands play here, besides that parking can be a bitch, the bartenders can be bitches as well when it comes to service and it get annoying hearing a bang on the bell when they get a nice tip.. Stop with that $hit already, and don't even get me started with the sheet as a door for the women's restroom...why 4 stars again...oh yeah cuz this place f*cken rocks.

Awesome dive bar. Free entrance. I wouldn't say they had a good beer selection, but the bartender sure know's how to make good drinks(!)--which was oh so not fun for me the next day! The dj was cool too. Good size dance floor & the place wasn't too packed. I wouldn't hesitate going back!

tried this place for the first time yesterday...
i felt pretty awkward being that i was dressed in a hot pink shirt, skinny jeans, and some flip flops while everyone else was decked out in their 50's-"greaser"esque attire. i was pretty intimidated by the 4 security guys standing outside, i didnt know what to expect.
turned out to be pretty fun, something new. people were friendly and interesting. a few punk rockers sprinkled in the crowd.
funniest thing of the night would have to be when i was sitting at the bar sippin on my drink then turning around and realizing that i could see guys peeing, being that the mens restroom has no door.
(fyi- ladies restroom has a door; however, only one toilet with only a curtain shielding you from harm's way if some drunken skank just happens to stumble in on you...be ready to hide your goodies girls!!)
cheap drinks, free pool, great rockabilly bands. pleasant atmosphere.
only downside is that 8 dollar cover charge. -

ok, the thing about spike's is that it is a TOTAL dive. that being said, it's awesome. for starters, the music is great... well, every time i have been (which has been on wednesdays). it's a great spot for not just 80s goodies, but the really good, obscure, dance-you-mopey-ass-off 80s. the drinks are relatively cheap and stiff. the only weird thing is that they have this sorta-carbonated cranberry juice for their cran/vodkas which sucks... but not enough to deter me from having it. anyway, it's free to get in and generally a good, dark time. full of win.

Spike's is one of the best Rock N Roll Bars in Los Angeles. Brando, the promoter is very supportive of the local music scene and he really has good taste with the bands he books. It's a down to earth no frills bar that really, really reminds me of C.B.G.B's. It's on the edge & it's the real thing. So if you like discovering cutting edge music before everybody else, you'll find some great music here. The DJ's play really good obscure Garage, Rockabilly & Punk Rock. In response to that other review, The Bouncers may look scary, but they are the nicest guys. Don't be intimidated. You'll have a great time.

Celebrated my birthday this past saturday and it was cool...we got there and it was pretty empty but thats okay with me( less drunks to deal with). We had the jukebox all to ourselves and i really like the eclectic choice of music only wish they had more of a selection. At 9 the d.j came on and he was also playing an eclectic playlist i loved it, it ranged from 90's hip-hop, 80's and even some cumbias! They also have pool tables, which was fun but call before you go cuz they sometimes have special events and use all the pool tables! I recommend this place if you want to get away from the drunk ass rockabilly crowd who dont know how to handle their liquer! The bartender was soo nice and the d.j was adorable when he gave me a shot out for my b-day. Pool rental is cheap, $6 an hour. They have cheap drinks, eclectic music and pool. If you want a melo yet fun night go on saturdays.

Good music. Crowd is not too pretentious. Bartenders can be snotty. They could have a better beer selection. Fun when a live band is playing.

I came to spikes for a phantom coaches hearse car show and live music with club members and friends. Ok so the dive bar it self is pretty cool its big with a bar on one side and a stage with a dance floor in the middle and a few pool table on the other side. I don't drink but i hear the booze is cheap. the parking lot sucks balls cause its small and cant get out cause people block you in. the car show was super fun and the band i wanted to see was the Ghastly Ones where awesome on stage. Later that night Neckroman and Patricia Day (members of the band Horrorpops) pulled up in a hearse which was super nice. I do have to say that the area is ghetto and i heard bad stories about that area and luckily me and my friend Jackie made it out alive with out getting shot hahaha. Well had much fun for the night will come again for something like this night that had to do with hearses and cool bands, this place was A-OK.

This place is awesome. Best nights to go are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The DJ on wed is great and usually for the most parts the bands that play on the weekend are pretty good too. It's a pretty good local place to chill out with friends.
