Legends Tap House & Grill

Came on a Saturday around 1pm with my fiancée.
Was greeted by the host, and was seated right away. There was ample seating in the dining room and bar area.

We ordered Legends Tri-tip Sandwich, with Garlic fries and added the Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese side.

And WOW! The tri-tip was delicious! The consistency of the tri-tip was not too chewy, and they add a lot of meat to the sandwich! The garlic fries were DELICIOUS. It was nicely seasoned and had a good crisp to it.

The Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese is a must have side. The pasta is Cavatappi which isn't what I'm used to for a Mac n cheese but definitely a nice surprise. And it was ooey gooey and so cheesy!

I would come here again if I happen to be in the area!

Last night my wife and I came to Legends for their Valentines dinner.
We were here last year and it was so good we decided on making it a date again.
Legends is a go to spot for us.
It really is a great place to eat. I often say that I have never had a bad meal here. The service is top notch as well.
But as with any of your favorite restaurants there are times when it's just not up to par with previous visits.
Well last night was one of those times.
The evening was definitely a great time.
However I was very surprised how long it took to get our food. In fact my salad arrived just minutes before main course.
So I didn't really get to enjoy the salad.
Ok no big deal. But the food was just warm. Which tells me it had been sitting for a while. It was more noticeable for my wife's dinner. She had the ribeye with baked potato and Brussels sprouts. She specified what she wanted in the baked potato and it was just a potato. Our server didn't even notice. But did correct the mistake.
To top it off it was barely hot. My wife's ribeye was actually a little tough and not nearly as tasty as my New York steak which was amazing.
She mentioned that the some of the food was barely warm and she was correct.
But the food did taste good.
So as we ate the manager Leo came to check on how everyone was doing with their food. I really don't like being negative because I realize that food service is a difficult business.
But I did tell him at our disappointment with the situation. He was a very nice person and took note and that he would make the staff aware of it.
The way I see it is that we are regulars. We are here at least 3 or 4 times a month. So we spend quite a bit of money here and it's probably better to hear constructive criticism come a regular than someone visiting for the first time and never come back.
Bcz we will be back. A regular customer can tell when things are just an off day. But know it isn't always like that.
My dining experience was better than my wives. I felt bad for her. But what can you do? Nevertheless Legends is a great place to watch and I recommend a visit to everyone.
I'm sure we will spend more Valentines dinners here.

Nikki and Leo was so upbeat, very knowledgeable on the beers they have on tab.
Highly encouraging to try new things... (since I'm a lil afraid to try new things) fast service and great food!!!!

First time going to Legends. Hubby and I went for our pre anniversary dinner. Got chimichurri tri tip appetizer with a side of garlic mashed potatoes plus the toppings. Really good flavors. Thank you Alex for waiting on us. She was very sweet! Will definitely go back!

A makeover of Anderson's Pea Soup. It's now a pub with pub food.

Huge parking lot, shared with the holiday inn and enterprise.

Sports bar. The other dining rooms are not being used. They just have the bar room open for seating. Tables, bar seating and high tops. We went on a Tuesday and they had college football and a rerun of Monday night football.

I ordered the classic burger. It was a tad dry. My honey ordered the fish and chips. It was very good. Crispy on the outside. Hot and moist inside. Next time I'll order the fish and chips.

For a Tuesday they were pretty busy. Most tables were filled. Turnover is fast, so there is always a open table. I recommend this place.

Had a delicious breakfast I had the Eggs Benedict. It was very good. I would order it again. My guest had the all American skillet. It had plenty of potatoes, meats and veggies. It looked delicious. They also have a pasta bar on Wednesdays from 11-1. I've had it in the past and it's always been great. Can't wait to try some of their new menu items next time.

Just a few miles south of Fresno lies a questionable roadside attraction, a fake replica of a Dutch windmill that once housed Anderson's Split Peas Soup Restaurant. For decades their giant billboards redirected you from all over the major freeways to their not so good soup and now failed restaurant.

Legends has replace it and now serves a standard bar food fare of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and some kind of expensive steaks. The place seems oversized, as if they were expecting 10x the customers they had. The food was actually descent with the burger seeming to have everything they had in ingredients and a bit obnoxious but in a very good way. The staff didn't seem to understand that they were suppose to attend to people and preferred to hang out together instead. I had to pester their hangout to ask for almost everything from a bar order to condiments. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's worth a stop to get some food and or a drink if you are staying in the hotel next door, or passing through on Highway 99 and don't want to venture far from the freeway.

bring back the chicken quesadilla ASAP that was my go toooo!!!!

The Legend Burger was AMAZING!!! Burger was cooked to perfection, my compliments to the chef. Something I've never had anywhere else! Hubby got the bacon wrapped meatloaf, ate it all! Our waitresses recommendations were solid!! And were given with a smile! Alexandra was her name, I believe. Excellent service, wonderful food. Will be coming back!

Awesome bar service. I recommend the wings, jalepeno poppers and delicious burgers. A lot of TVs to watch sports. Located near Selma automall
