We got some sandwiches and drinks here to-go, on our way back home to the Denver area, after spending the morning in Garden of the Gods.  The vegetarian sandwich I got was amazing.  It was warm and melty - it had roasted vegetables on it, and I chose Provolone Cheese.

The sides are Lays Chips or 2-3 different cold salads.  I think they had a pasta, a 3 bean, and a potato salad the days I was there.

It was fun as a foodie to peek around in there, as they had lots of interesting foods and spices for sale.  I wasn't able able to browse that much as I had my three young kids with me, but I did noticed high quality jams and chutneys, an interesting selection of salts including a black salt.  I purchased some Agave Nectar sticks, and grabbed a few of the individually wrapped specialty chocolates they had by the counter when I paid.  These were excellent "mommy treats" for the drive home.  :)

They also had an interesting selection of drinks - not just your typical sodas, bottle waters and energy drinks (thought they do have those too).  I got a house made iced tea, a friend got a ginger beer, and someone else got an Izze.  I noticed they also had lime and orange Pelligrino.

If you are walking around Manitou Springs, and want a tasty sandwich, in a quirky, mountain deli, then this is your place.

( Note: I can't remember if this is Wheelchair accessible or not...it seems like there were 2-3 steps up to walk into the store, but I can't remember for sure.  You might want to call to ask)

We got these tasty sandwiches to-go and took them on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway.

Cookies were ok - a bit dry.

I enjoyed a wonderful mug of chicken tortilla soup, genoa salami & swiss sandwich and chai tea here. Looks like it gets quite busy over the lunch hour. I found a perfect spot at the counter overlooking Maniotu Ave. and enjoyed some people watching. Very laid back atmosphere with super friendly staff! Two thumbs up!
