    I had to give props to both Pennsylvania and Maryland law makers for a never ending source of entertainment.   The law is clear, if you are a PA resident you cannot purchase or possess anything but the lame ground fireworks.  Yet the store specializes in the "big stuff" for out of state people, specifically Maryland residents!  Though it is technically illegal to shoot off the fire works you can own as many of them as you like without fear.  And for the most part, unless you are a booger eating moron and burn down the barn no one will mess with you.

    That leads me into my review of the store and of course the people who are not allowed to go into the store, namely PA residents.  But more on that later.

    The store is great, the selection is pretty broad and the staff is knowledgeable.   They pointed me to all of the good stuff.  They also have different levels of fireworks. You can buy the cheap stuff or for a few dollars more you can get a much higher quality product.

    What is really popular are the aerials. The mortars and cannons that make that loud deep thunk and the a great star or whistler with the loud BOOM at the end.  Pretty quality stuff and the prices are cheap.  For example, I bought a 8 mortar set for  $8.50 and they were excellent.  You can also buy larger sets of mixed items.

    I spent a few hundred dollars here this year.  I love the rolls of 16,000 firecrackers that went on for 30 minutes.  We had a great display in the back yard and lots of fun.  Now on to the locals.

    Seems that every toothless fool tried to get  in to the place.  Rednecks and fireworks are a essential combination.  The most common excuse I heard was I lost my license to a DUI can I get in?  Also, I heard a lot of "I forgot my license" and promises that they were not PA residents.  I don't think it is a great idea to have someone who lost their license to be allowed to buy fireworks.  

    That did not seem to stop them.  These folks were in the parking lot trying to get out of state people to buy them for them.  Like a 15 year trying to get the adult to buy them beer they would not relent.  The fun part was the local police had someone across the street waiting to nail these idiots when the trade went down.  

    So the moral of this lesson is move to Maryland!  Keep your house in order, little boys and girls should not play with fireworks!

    Great place to go for some clean fun.  They also have incentive programs for when you spend over 101 and up. I will go there every year from now on!
