Sparkleberry Landing
1 review for Sparkleberry Landing
An old boat ramp located off Camp Mac Boykin Road, about 1 mile down Sparkleberry Landing Road. It provides access to the swampy northwest portion of Lake Marion. There are no facilities here, not even a bathroom, so come prepared. If you're going in a boat with an outboard, be careful. There are so many submerged tree stumps, just below the murky water line, and you WILL hit them if you go fast. This is a great place to kayak, just keep a close eye on any significant features that you are passing so you can find your way back. I usually plan a little extra time, it's easy to get lost out here.
