Vernon Lanes underwent a remodel and is now known as Spare Time. I don't bowl frequently so I can't really say whether it was a change for the better, worse or stayed the same. I went here to bowl about 6 months ago but couldn't because they had no shoes. What kind of bowling alley runs out of shoes? Typically you can bowl for $3 a game. Here they charge $4.25 plus $3 shoe rental. The staff was borderline rude. The lanes weren't as polished as they should be. Some of the bowling balls were scuffed up and chipped. Hated the screen graphics too. But it's the only place to bowl in Vernon so it will have to do.
