It's hard to stand out on Santa Fe. There are so many great art galleries here that you've really got to shine to get noticed. Space Gallery manages to do just that.

The quality of the work here is akin to that of the other galleries, but Space couples that with great atmosphere and consistently great talent.

The Space Gallery features more current/contemporary feeling pieces than many other s. Santa Fe Galleries.  There is a wide range of diversity among the art many pieces relate in contemporary style.  Here you may find: gigantic watercolor portraits with lively brush strokes and enigmatic expressions; Mobile sculptures that shift and writhe in a gigantic way; dripping acrylics reminiscent of ancient Japanese landscape prints.  The gallery attracts a younger crowd here than many galleries in the area for the most part.  Once again, beverages are served for a small donation.  There are studios available for artists in Space.  Space also sells large-size canvases and interestingly, Space hosts weddings and other formal events to a backdrop of artwork.
