2 reviews for SPACE: A Design Build Collective
Emily helped me remodel two bathrooms and chose colors (five of them) for the exterior of our houseboat. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. I wish I could post before and after photos here, because there would be no need to type anything further. For the bathroom projects, Emily efficiently came up with a scope of work -- yes, that cabinet needs to be replaced; no, don't try to enlarge the shower, etc. Emily then provided referrals to other SPACE businesses to do the work and now the projects became possible.
For the houseboat, she refined my ideas and a boring gray box became vibrant and exciting. It was so nice as the colors went on not to second-guess myself or worry about the overall look as each color went on. Our neighbors are ecstatic, as are we.
Beautiful, cohesive, brilliant - are only few of the many wonderful things to say about the end result with the help from Emily Lauderback of her SPACE Design Build Collective. I called her to come over and help me pick out colors for my ENTIRE interior. She guided me through her simple process and I learned a lot about color and their relationships, the energy they possess, and how to create a sense of balance within my own personal color palette - which in turn put me in a place to find balance in other areas of my life! One room flows right into the next, giving my space a truly intimate, yummy, special place to call home.
I did need some assistance choosing surfaces for my kitchen as well, and Emily not only made it fun, she really made me aware of how all the choices made sense! On top of all of that, she has a whole collective of local trades - it really couldn't have been any easier! All were affordable, professional, and really achieved the look I wanted!!
I have referred her to many friends and she's created a harmonious space for them as well! I find that after the experience I had with this process and Emily there to guide me, I tend to stay in a lot more these days - she just gave us this wonderful place to call home, snuggling up on my sofa has never felt so warm!
Did I mention that she leaves you with a palette that can be used not only as paint color, but for your sofa, accessories, etc.??! Let's just say that shopping just became a lot more FUN!
Emily was full of light, energetic, and really focused on teaching me what she knows about color - I recommend her and members of the SPACE Design Build Collective to all of YOU!
Thank You Emily!! And - you were TOTALLY right about the ceiling!!
Folks, PAINT YOUR CEILINGS! :)
