Space 39 Art Bar & Martini Lounge

What a cool place!!!!! I stopped by in my walk home from dinner for night cap. I'd been there once before, but I think I was just early. Very nice bartenders, excellent drinks (a lot of choices), cool artwork and that night a great little group consisting of one vocalist, keyboard, drum set, and a sax. I was very impressed with the singer she did some great semi-improvisational takes on songs from the more recent past. She was just excellent and was really in synch with the keyboardist. The drums were way too loud (need shield) and the sax player was often flat and didn't seem to hear it himself. Just hearing the singer was worth everything.

Go to dinner...drop by for one of their delicious martinis (Try the Banana Nut Bread Martini) and enjoy the "cherry on top" of bars in Fort Myers.

This place is such a vibe. The atmosphere is so chill and laid back. When I walked in there it was a live band playing and people singing. It's a small place but there is seating outside if you like, if they have it setup. I went to the bar and popped a squat. They have plenty of different uniques Martinis to choose from. Today I decided to try the Banana Nut Bread Martini which guess what? Tasted just like Banana Nut Bread! It was creamy , smooth and delicious. This is one of their top sellers. They have a full bar . This place is dimly lit with blue lights and lots of cool paintings on the wall. The bar staff was friendly and eager to help you choose your drink. You get your drinks served quickly. If you are in the Ft.Myers are make a point to stop by for a sip! I sure will!

Pass this establishment often as it in the "alley" between 1st Street and the Courtyard. Not necessarily a place we wanted to visit, but on this evening we decided to stop in with a couple friends. They always seem to have live music, but honestly it not our type of music.

My wife had a Banana Nut Bread Martini which she enjoyed it very much. We finished our cocktails and moved on to our next drink stop.

Super ornate unique vibe that is nightclub scene. Artwork galore. The staff is very friendly even while they're trying to set up. They made time for us. The art work and video playing made us all laugh while enjoying a cold beer. Must see!

Great entertainment venue relative to their commitment to live music. Their cocktail menu is on point pricing fair considering they have live music. There are enough bartenders even on busy nights.

Great Live Music! Nostaljah was awesome. Great drinks. Wish the place was bigger limited seating. Get there early for a seat.

This place ansolutely deserves 5 star raiting. I have arrived there a bit early, so I could enjoy the band without too big of a crowd.

The atmosphere is top notch. It is impressive of how much viriety of settings the owners managed to incooporate.

First, the place is a gallery with art on every wall complimented with light so it seemed like every piece was featured and placed in the right spot!! You can also purchase that art.

The bar is centrally located so you do not have to go all away across from the place where you pick to sit. The service is very attentive.

There is a nicely decorated outside lounge area.

There is a white couch and millions colorful comfy pillows area with a fire place. Thanksfully, the fire place it not hot. After all, it is Florida. I love enjoying there a glass of red wine. The celection of wine there is very good.

There is an area with high bar tables and chairs.

There is an area where the live band is playing. The performers are very tallented.

Over all is a great place to spend an evening! I can't wait to go back!

I'm torn because I want to give this place a 5 but it also irritated that they charged $3 for a club soda? I have never been somewhere where they charged for this. Especially when you're at a bar. I quickly switched over to water after the bartender let me know this.

Nice people good drinks Great Motown songs and Music Played . I Was Born and Raised in Detroit Michigan now I am Retired and living in Fort Myers , FL. . Last Thursday was my first time there and definitely will not be my last.
I get enjoyment from listening & Dancing to the live entertainment, Because Of the resemblances Of The clubs I frequented in my home town of Detroit, Michigan. Just to name a few; " Baker's KeyBoard Lounge, The Raven Lounge,Floods Bar & Grill and Bert's Market Place".
