PRO:
- Great value for the rate. Me and the lady just stayed for three weeknights for $79 nightly in a king room on the first floor. Gas fireplace, mini-fridge, iPod alarm clock, DVD player, flat screen tv
- Very comfortable bed and blankets.
- Great location at the west end of town on the 89A. Still close to many places, but just outside the heart of the crowds
- Outstanding housekeeping - I couldn't believe how clean and organized the room was when we got back to it at the end of each day.
- Average to above average free continental breakfast - Standard stuff
- Three computers with internet available until 8pm above the lobby

CONS (mostly minor)
- Pillows were way too thick for me - I winded up sleeping with no pillows by the third night. They're so thick, my neck rested at a 45* angle on them when I laid down
- Wireless internet was not working in the room - I asked about when we checked in and she said it probably wouldn't work and it didn't. I got the feeling it was a normal issue and not much was done about it, but I could be wrong.
- Well equipped rooms, but a microwave would be nice
- The lights above the sink in the bathroom could be used as heat lamps. I could literally feel my scalp burning when I had the lights on.

All in all we were very happy with this place and would return again if the rates are right.

We are staying only one night in Sedona.  We didn't want to pay a huge amount at a resort.  Due to the rave reviews on Trip Adviser, we booked a night at the Southwest Inn at Sedona.  The rooms are huge, nicely appointed in southwestern style, and the staff is very friendly.  If I were ever to venture through Sedona again, I would stay here.

Agreeable.  A few notches above standard budget hotels at a reasonable price.  Large, clean rooms with a jacuzzi bath and in-room fireplace.  A helpful concierge willing to make restaurant recommendations and call in reservations.  She seemed to have limited knowledge of easy hikes nearby, but for more serious hiking, do your own research.  The sign in front claims "bed and breakfast featuring Belgian waffles" --- really it's just a typical continental breakfast with DIY waffles.

Overpriced for what it is. The room did the trick - it was a place to sleep and clean up. However, I would not want to lounge around in these rooms or spend an inordinate amount of time in them. The balconies overlook a parking lot, as well as the main highway - I don't exactly call that a view. Sure, there is a fireplace, but again...this isn't the kind of room you want to cozy up in. Supposedly they have breakfast, but even my husband (who doesn't mind Hampton Inn breakfasts) wouldn't eat it. The entrances to all of the rooms are exterior, which I know bothers some people. For the price we paid, about $200/night, I think we could have stayed at a nicer place. The pool is pretty nasty, and the hot tub does not look inviting. This place is very average, and I would definitely stay elsewhere on our next visit.
