The name of this bar is on a huge banner outside, Southside Speakeasy.
A speakeasy? Really?

How much of a speakeasy can it be with a huge sign outside declaring the bar to be a speakeasy?

Here's a dictionary definition of a speakeasy, maybe the owner's should have looked this up first:

- A place where alcoholic beverages are illegally sold; specifically : such a place during the period of prohibition in the United States.
- A speakeasy was generally either a restaurant or a bar to which patrons gained admission by knocking on a door and uttering a secret password.  Once inside, patrons were treated very well in a swanky ambiance that may have included elaborate floor shows, fine dining and live entertainment.  

2 stars just because it's in my neighborhood and it appears to have good drink specials. I doubt I'll ever go though. The stupidity of the name bothers me too much.
