mediocre service and food. did the xmas buffet, the 5:00 seating, and wasn't impressed. some "hot" items on the buffet were cold, and nothing is more disappointing than cold mashed potatoes... except for maybe the desserts which were all too sweet and lacked proper texture and flavor. the server was not attentive and dropped the check waaaayy too early (a huge pet peeve). i've been here before and had a good meal, so 3 stars are in order, however, will not be coming back any time soon.

We had a bad experience here. Staff was surly, and obviously distracted by a horrible customer (this guy complained about getting the wrong order AFTER his party of 12 finished their meals, and then wanted the whole meal comped... wow). The attitude of the staff towards this customer bled into their treatment of us, which was awkward and unprofessional.
Food itself was average and pre-prepared. It's a catering company and the waitress admitted that they could not do special orders or modify anything on the menu. We came here because we wanted the all-you-can eat salad bar, and theirs is decent, to be fair. The entrees, however, do taste like they're pre-prepared - bland and very "safe."
Decor is unappealing. It reminded me of a lobby at an older hotel (think a Holiday Inn or Ramada that hasn't been rennovated). I don't recommend this if you're in town for a ski trip. If you're like me, you'll be unsatisfied. -

Perfectly acceptable.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
Nothing particularly special.
Nothing that will either wow or disappoint.
Middle of the road.
Nondescript.
You could, but why?
Getting the picture?
They have a meeting room that is good for anniversary parties, after-funeral get togethers, etc.
They have a lot of Rotary functions and lunches like that.
It just kind of is.
And that is all I have to say about that. -

The prime rib was very good, as were the garlic mashed potatoes. The salad bar is killer!
It looks like the restaurant could use a little updating, but overall, we were very pleased with the experience. -

On our way back from riding at Sugarbush my brother, a friend and I stopped here for dinner. We were in our snowboard clothes but were seated promptly in the bar room area and were asked where we had been riding all day. The whole wait staff was very friendly and playful. The menu had a good selection of stuff and we all ordered different dinners. I had a chicken club sandwich with mashed potatoes and a cup of new england clam chowder. My brother ordered one of their "Famous" burgers and a cup of broccoli cheddar and our friend ordered seafood ravioli and unlimited trips to the salad bar. Our buddy seemed to love the salad bar because he had like 3 huge plates of stuff from there. All our dinners were awesome and really hit the spot. While we were eating, there was a wedding reception going on in the back and waitresses kept walking by with loads of food and dessert. Our friend had the balls to walk into the reception and steal 2 handsful of brownies and cookies. Our whole experience here was great and would recommend this place to anyone heading south on 7 after riding at Sugarbush or Killington.
