With my family, we always go to South Garden for Dim Sum.
It's as authentic as one can get Dim Sum in Miami and the push cart service does help.  The food is always satisfactory.

They've recently changed ownership (the old owners retired) and the new owners have made updated with the restaurant decoration, less Cheesy Chinese.

This one was ok.  More desserts.  Congee not as good.  They have carts.  I need to go back to try it again (it's a little far south), apparently it's been renovated.  For a more thorough review, link to

One of the better places in Miami-Dade to get dim sum fixing. Largely Chinese clientele is also evident.

Very good Dim Sum. Authentic. I was open to trying chicken feet, which i was not a fan of but they were ok. I LOVED the pineapple buns! They were warm, tasty, and moist. The lemon tarts were also good. The tea is satisfying. I also enjoyed the dumplings. I am not the biggest fan of any beef at most authentic Chinese restaurants b/c it's too tender and rubbery for my liking. Overall, very good. I've been twice and would return again.
