This place has done a good job. I frequently eat at this restaurant when i'm in Teterboro for business. I've been an infrequent patron for 3 years and i keep coming back.
Chalk it up to consistency. Food is well prepared and quality is there. Great oysters too.
The scene is suburban chic and the drinks are strong.
Don't be shy, try this place out. It's yummy -

I got a little lost coming here, as this restaurant sits on Route 17 and I thought it was closer to the Westfield Mall.
Hop in there with my good friend for our annual fall dinner, as this was centrally located. The decor is really nice, although the music, wow...I thought I was in a club. They had some serious house music blaring for your nightly dining pleasure.
Dinner was good, not spectacular, pretty basic actually. I had the short ribs and found it to be a little tough. The calamari beforehand was overly breaded and pretty bland. Probably should have sent that back, but we were too busy talking and catching up.
Our server was very good, he made a few suggestions and I should have gone with the Salmon. Maybe for next time.
Also, be wary that they force you to valet park for dinner. You can make an immediate right after the restaurant and park down the street if you prefer that. -

Been to this location about 3x. Food is really good but a little pricey. Well what do you expect.
Chicken I had there was amazing....highly recommend it. -

Every meal has been above and beyond. These people have even taken making french fries to a new art - seasoned with I don't know what! From the crab cakes with actual crab, to the lobster shanghai - all are amazing. I have enjoyed the service and food over and over!

To be honest I have been to this place a dozen times for drinks with friends and only have eaten here once. The pasta I had was delicious with a kick. I would recommend this place for a meeting place for new daters or a casual hangout for a small group of friends. Great atmosphere.

Went to South City in Rochelle Park Saturday night and was amazed. Hadn't been there in a while and was pleasantly surprised with a new menu. Same great food and service but now I can afford it. They were busy as always, but we had a drink at the bar and were sat rather quickly. I was told that the new menu was just introduced the night before and was producing great results. It's refreshing to see a restaurant group as successful as the guys from South City putting the economic needs of the public first. Great job on the new menu. I will be back soon.

I've been to this place several times, even though I think they are over rated.
They have a descent happy hour special on a daily basis, but there are catches.
For instance, they have "mandatory" valet park. The last time I was there, it was raining when I arrived and the valet was nowhere to be seen. So I parked my car. As I walked inside, this young kid, approached me and said that valet park was mandatory, so when I pointed out that I had already parked, he said: "It's ok, just give me your keys, and I'll give you a tag" Of course I declined.
I parked on the street and walked back to the place only because my friend was already there.
Now, we sat at the bar and there were 3 of us. Our bill came to $108.30.
2 of us paid $45.00 on credit card and the 3rd one $45.00 in cash.
A week later I went online to look at my statement and found out they had charged my credit card $67.30!!!!
I called to inquire and the manager on duty, Sarah, asked me if I had left a tip!!!! Which was obviously included already since the total we paid came out to $135.00!!!?
Now I have to go after my money.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT PEOPLE USE THEIR CARD THERE!!!!!
