Sous Le Lit is one of my favorite boutiques in Denver. I love that they carry unique yet fashionable styles that you won't find on every Mary & Jane walking down the street. They also carry Miz Mooz brand which happens to be one of my favorite footwear lines. They have extraordinary customer service. There is always a staff member willing to lend a hand. Love this place!!

Friendly, Relaxed Boutique w/Unique Finds
I walked into Sous le Lit a day after returning from Paris, with the city's judgmental service and overpriced merchandise on my mind. Unlike in Paris, I was met with a friendly and sweet woman at the front desk who was more than happy to point out their new merchandise and her personal favorite items. She was also happy to chat with my husband, keeping his attention, while I was in the dressing room.
I purchased a dress and leggings. I loved the dress, but it torn at the seem on my 2nd wear. I thought it was silk, based on the high price tag, but it was polyester. The quality just didn't meet the price tag, so I returned it to the store. They offered to find me the same dress at another store, but I opted to take the store credit. I'll happily go back, but my tip to you is to look at the fabric and construction of the piece before you take it home. They do have very quality, unique pieces so I think this was an exception.
This is a great place to find those special, unique items that no one else will have. -

This is a cute boutique store located on Platte Street. I was in this area for brunch at Paris on the Platte Cafe and Bar on Sunday and after brunch, we stopped in to check out the shoe, clothing and accessories that this store had to offer.
It's a small location, but had a lot of items for sale. There items there to suit every budget, from low to high-end. It didn't have anything that I couldn't live without, but it's a nice addition to the area. -

Sous le Lit Shoes is an amazing store with stellar service. In my many years of shoe procurement, I received the friendliest and most helpful service here at Sous le Lit.
Dalane and I were on the hunt for some boutique stores, and stumbled upon Platte Street. Sous le Lit caught my eye because of the clean and sleek looking window display. I really liked the layout of the store, with the accessories, hats, belts, and the purses sporadically placed throughout. Jewelry was in the case below the cash register, and towards the back were unique cards each with different shoe designs suitable for any occasion.
The shoe selection included designers (American, Italian, etc.,) that you would be hard pressed to find at Macy's and Nordstrom's. Believe it or not, the prices were not outrageous, as some specialty shoe stores often are.
Stopped in for a few minutes since we were starving and trying to work off our hangovers. It doesn't make for a pleasant shopping experience if one is on an empty stomach. :)
A few hours later, we were nourished, caffeinated, and ready to spend. I tried on a few pairs of shoes, and Greg was incredibly helpful with my questions and concerns. Additionally, he provided his local expertise by instructing us on the best route to a neighboring area. In fact, a local shopper offered her recommendations as well. I must admit that she had impeccable taste as she tried on the same shoes that I did. After some deliberating and discussing with both Dalane and Greg, I decided to buy the sassy black shoes. The cashier was also friendly, and meticulously placed my shoes in a shopping bag and proceeded to add colored tissue and blue sequined fabric (as a tie on the handles). It was as if my shoes were given the VIP custom wrap and packaging treatment.
A cool store on a lovely street, with amazing and friendly service. It really doesn't get any better than that! This SF gal is quite pleased with her new sassy, strappy black shoes, and cannot wait for Spring/Summer to show them off!Listed in: Mile-High City To-Dos

Sous le Lit carries many affordable brands such as Jeffrey Campbell and Blowfish. These brands are easily found online, so I wouldn't say that the selection is unique. It's just an added plus to see them in person before purchasing. There's affordable accessories too, including scarfs and jewelry. I wasn't a big fan of the style of the store which was typical "girly" (ie nothing really unique or interesting) for the most part, hence the three stars. The service was very friendly so I'd say this is the place to go for affordable, girly shoes and accessories if that's your style.
