Best salon in town. Accommodating, tremendously hospitable, and consistently stellar results. I'm always treated like family here.

I have been getting my hair cut here at Sourianas Beauty Salon for the past 2 years. The service and the experience is amazing! When u walk In your greeted with a smile, if you made an appointment you'll be in the chair within minutes, if you drop in it might take a few minutes if the ladies are busy. Once in the chair, hot tea and snacks find their way over to you. These ladies know what their doing. Now she starts cutting, most salons I've been to don't know how to start o even keep a conversation going, that's not the case here, when the younger blonde, her name is Cynthiana, cuts my hair I feel like I've know her forever. After the cut I get my hair washed and cleaned.
Their prices are very reasonable an the location is good!
But Cynthiana is the reason I go back to Sourianas Beauty Salon, she just does a great job on my hair and she very lively and fun to be around!
I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!
The only time i had an issue is because i had to wait for about 30 minutes once as a drop in.. no appointment.. -

I've been getting my haircut at another place in San Jose for about 10 years and through the recommendation of a friend I went to Souriana's in order to try something new.
The hair stylist that cut my hair was Cynthiana and she did an amazing job....it was a quick, clean, and modern cut! My hair is actually pretty difficult to cut, so I have to give credit where credit is due!
Would definitely recommend! -

They do an AMAZING job at a great price. I got my eyebrows done here- let me tell you that I have been in search of a great eyebrow place for a while, and I LOVE my eyebrows.
Also, I got a haircut here and love how my hair looks. It's such a great salon- they offer you tea and cookies. I highly recommend coming here! -

So when i first came here an older lady(forgot her name) cut my hair and did a fantastic job! she offered me tea and cookies and was extremely friendly, i was so pleased and it was only 30$ even though i have long hair. i would have rated this salon 5 stars if it was not for my second experience.
The second time coming here i was NOT as pleased as the first time,
i got my hair cut by Cynthiana, and on the phone she told me that my haircut would be 30$ and said NOTHING about the price going up for longer hair. During the haircut she was polite and friendly but i was disappointed that she did not offer me tea or cookies like my first experience, she also made me STAND UP while getting my hair cut because she said it would be better since i have longer hair. I did not like this at all. The haircut was ok, but at the end she said it was 40$ because of the length of my hair. I think that was ridiculous because she said nothing about the price going up on the phone and it was only a trim! the haircut only took about 15mins!! so not worth my money...
All in all i would not go back here, although they are very friendly their prices are simply not worth it. -

I came to Souriana for a facial and threading. Now when it comes to threading, I'm super sensitive to pain but Nikkie made it so comfortable for me. The facial was superb! Nikkie did an amazing job and I have never felt so relaxed and refreshed. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the work and I recommend you ask for Nikkie! I am definitely coming back!

Love, love, love my hair!!! I Love Asnive and her wonderful staff as well. All the ladies in the shop are so nice and attentive. It's amazing how much detail Asnive pays to her clients hair and needs. I have had Asnive cut, Deep condition and most recently perm my hair. It was the first time I had my hair permed and I found myself wondering how anybody got burned during a perm...Lita did a fantastic job setting my hair and I got all the tea and coffee I could drink. It did make me a bit ant-sy after all that caffeine but it was well worth it, I was getting sleepy from how nice all the pampering felt.
P.S. They fix "SUPER" cuts -

I came to Souriana's in search of a good eyebrow threader close to home. Although my eyebrows look excellent, my experience was not what I expected. First, Farrah plucked my eyebrows, then trimmed the ends (which I'm not a fan of), and finally threaded a few extra strands. The whole process hurt a lot more than regular threading, took longer, and cost a lot more. I paid $28 including tip whereas my usual threadings cost $10-$15.
If you're looking to have your eyebrows shaped, Farrah is good. If you want your eyebrows threaded and shaped, I would skip Souriana's. -

this place is truly a Godsend!
they freely accept walk-ins, but call ahead
to make sure-- especially if you need a color job
or want to request a particular stylist.
if you're persian and are in need of someone to
"band" you or if you're into "threading"-- Lita is
the woman for you.
Aznive [the owner] is an experienced stylist and
is possibly the best person in this county when it comes
to a blowdryer, straightening or curling iron.
their prices are awesome and the salon is SO cute.
don't be surprised if you find yourself feeling at home
with the inviting atmosphere and the tea & pastries
that are offered to you upon setting foot in the salon! :) -

Fabulous ambience, tea, cookies, beautiful location and friendly staff.
The owner Azni is great and knows what shes doing but you def have to tell her what you dont want or she just might do it without asking you. Like thin out your bangs without asking. WTF!!?
Otherwise my hair looks great and healthier. Id give this a 5 if it wasnt for my bangs that she should have asked about before thinning. Its going to take me forever to grow them out! -

This place socks. I went there for a short hair cut, brought in a picture and she did not get it.
She cut one side shorter than the other and very conveniently she blamed my hair.
I left the salon and I looked worst than I came in.
Last but not least I had to pay a full price and she did not even dare to ask if I liked it. I just wanted to get the hell out of there.
Ouch it hurt my pocket:-(
Will never go back there again and I do not recommend it. -

I came in here after my regular hair stylist messed up my hair beyond relief. Not knowing what to expect, i left as happy as I could ever be! Not only are they experts at what they do, they are confident, friendly and they make you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place!
