    One word: delicious.

The service is excellent - friendly and prompt - and the food is fantastic.

This is now among my favorite restaurants. I will make it a point to go back whenever I'm in town. Nicely done.

Enjoyed a great dinner here after a hard day of skiing and getting a decent windburn from the slopes. :)
Found Soule Domain on Yelp, and followed the trail of good ratings to the little log cabin in the woods.
Maitre'd was very nice, hospitable. We were seated in the downstairs seating area where the tables were packed in very close together. Not a problem if everyone uses their "inside voices," but the woman at the table next to us spent her entire meal regaling her dining partner with a tale about a relative's troubled life. In her "outside voice." Had she not left before my entree arrived, I would have felt compelled to say something to her.
So the downstairs area is cute, ultra-cozy--maybe too much so--and has a wood-burning stove set into one wall. Kept the area warm on a chilly Tahoe night.
Our server, Summer, was very knowledgeable about the menu but had kind of an odd way of starting the night. She simply walked up to us and started telling us about the specials. Didn't introduce herself, welcome us, ask us if we've been there before...just, "So, I have three salads and a fish to tell you about." Uh...okay. Her description of everything was lovely, but not enough for us to veer from our plan.
We started with the seared Ahi tuna, served on a crunchy slaw with two different dipping sauces--a wasabi-cream sauce and a chile sauce. Both were good, but the chile sauce was outstanding. And the slaw was good enough to eat on its own--who eats the garnish on a plate? I do!
Followed that with a shared house salad, complete with artichoke hearts and sweet cherry tomatoes and a great dressing. Very good.
Next came soup. Soup?? Come to find out that the soup course was included with the entree. Had we known, we would have skipped the salad, but c'est la vie. The soup was a delicious, rich carrot and fennel cream soup. Decadent, with little bits of fennel mixed in. And anyone who knows me knows I LOVE fennel!
Then comes the entrees. Dude. Amazing stuff. Husband got the filet with shitake mushrooms and gorgonzola cheese. Perfectly cooked medium rare steak in a wickedly rich sauce. Awesome.
I think I stole the show, though, with my mango and kiwi-topped scallops. There were only three scallops on the plate, but they were huge, and probably the most buttery, perfectly cooked scallops I've ever had. Mixed with the kiwi-mango sauce and pieces of fruit, the combination was phenomenal. Served with a fresh mixed-grain rice that wasn't cooked to mush, but was savory and fresh. And each entree came with great vegetables--not your traditional carrot and broccoli crap, but brussels sprouts and other goodies. Delish!
The end of the night found us sharing a delightful slice of lemon-coconut cheesecake. The plate was decorated with a drizzle of raspberry sauce on one side, and a warm caramel on the other. House-made whipped cream and a perfectly sweet strawberry sealed the deal.
So, four stars all around. Five would have been given were it not for the odd approach of our waitress and the too-cozy conditions of the dining area. Great food, fair prices and easy to find. Oh--and the ladies room sink is very cool, too. Never included a restroom rating on Yelp before, but there's a first time for everything... :)

Absolutely Fantastic Dinner. One of the best restaurants in the Tahoe area.

Escargot was very good... prepared with a hearty red wine sauce and pastry shell. It wasn't what we had visualized based on the description.

Thai Seared Tuna Salad was a Special and also delicious. Ingredients were very fresh and the dressing put the flavors over the top. Had a great balance of sweet and spice using peaches and jalapeno.

Rack of lamb was probably the best I've ever had...can't remember the last time I had one this good. Cooked medium rare. There isn't much else to say about it.

Sea Bass was a dinner special. Panko dusted and pan fried. It was also fantastic.

For dessert we had the flour-less chocolate cake ala mode with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. One of the better flour-less cake I've ever had.

Service was wonderful. I'm happy I ate here and can't wait to go back.

Four of us enjoyed a divine multicourse meal with creative combinations of comfort foods cooked in new American and Asian fusiion styles. Mouth-watering duck and scallop appetizers started this soirée, but the bell of the ball was Bridget's filet main course perfectly prepared in a traditional savory sauce. Our fish dishes were nearly perfect in flavor and texture (I had the Ono), and desert was a culinary statement of biblical affect - a cream-filled flourless chocolate cake, presented a la mode, with a scoop of hand-crafted ice cream.
While the kitchen delivered in spades, it would me remiss to overlook the dining experience at Soule Domain, particularly the service of our waiter Steven. His sublime presentation of the menu- linguistically delightful descriptions of the "demi-glaze sauce" and "Noisette-cut duck" - made Nonie squirrelly with haute fever. if there was a Pulitzer prize for talking about food, he would win it.

    Zagat, you missed one!

Being a former tea buyer and spice/coffee/chocolate taster for a little company in SF led me to being a foodie. So when I went to this cabin restaurant on the Cal/Nev border in Lake Tahoe's Crystal Bay to check out a friend of the family's restaurant, I had no idea it would rival some of the best restaurants in SF and New Orleans. This is an eatery that would thrive in a big city so if you're anywhere near here and are looking for exquisite eats, this is the place. And the wine list ain't too shabby, either.

Now, you may think this is ridiculous but a must try is what I immediately and forever will refer to as the WTF cookie. No joke. How good can a cookie be? It was a regular looking white chocolate thing that when you taste it, you think WTF - this is a cookie?! Inexplicable. Period.

    Recommendations:
    Ahi Salad
Thai Curry Shrimp (best shrimp I've EVER had - they gladly replaced scallops since I'm allergic) - mwa magnifico!
Filet Mignon in reduced wine sauce
We also enjoyed the 2007 School House Recess Red from Paso Robles
And, of course, the WTF cookie with almond ice cream and blueberry sauce. :D

I will eat here every time I make it anywhere near Crystal Bay. Seriously, worth the drive from the other side of the Lake.

I did my homework before our Tahoe getaway over the Labor Day long weekend, thanks to YELP, Soule Domain was a great find.

I left a message for the reservation, as promised I got a call back before 4PM. The place did not look as good as the picture in the day light, interior decor was kind of 'interesting'. Wait staffs were busy but friendly and attentative.

We ordered plenty of food and enjoyed our dinner very much.
Scallop appetizer was very yummy, the ahi salad was a bit disappointing, although pretty to look at, fish did not have much taste and the salad was sitting in too much dressing for too long
Main courses were the high lights, the fillet Mignon was so tender and tasty, my husband can not stop talking about it. He does not normally like fillet Mignon. My mix seafood dish was also amazing, I wished I had added the pasta but was trying to control the calories
We also shared the flourless chocolate cake, it was OK. The wine by the glass were pretty good and reasonably priced.

This will be one of our dinner places for Tahoe area in the future.

AMAZING. Just so amazing. Every dish WOWed us like no other. And we thought prices were really reasonable too because you get really high quality food here.

We got 2 appetizers: lobster wonton and lamb ravioli
2 entrees: sablefish and pork tenderloin
    soup, and salad

all these for under $90, I don't think that's expensive at all.

Btw, if you like bread, this is the place to be. They serve some amazing whole wheat rolls with tarragon and sliced wheat bread with roasted red pepper hummus! I ate well over 4 baskets of those by myself.

Service is great too. The server and the chef are the Soule brothers, how cute =) Do make a reservation because this tiny little log cabin sits very little, but its very cozy and warm inside =) enjoy!!

After our amazing visit to Soule Domain, we have decided to spend the summer trying each and every item on the menu.

Friday evening we had tickets to a musical event nearby and decided to take advantage of the chance to eat at Soule Domain again.

Our server Casey - was simply amazing - as is all of the staff!  The food was brilliant!  My husband had the Ahi appetizer which he did not share with me.  I was aghast at his selfishness, but understood.  I had the Ahi salad again - I simply could not resist.

Our entrees were the pork tenderloin which was so flavorful and tender that my husband said it virtually melted in his mouth.  I tried the linguni with chicken - amazing flavor.  There was so much goodness on my plate, I decided to take the rest home and save it for lunch the next day.

We were ready to go and had a few minutes before our event and a lovely young woman casually walked up to our table with the dessert menus.  She knew we were weak and didn't have a chance to say no.  I threatened to post this to Yelp and I am making good on that promise!  They get pretty crafty in figuring out who will fold.

We split the flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of their homemade ice cream.  Oh my gosh - there are no words to describe the cake.  It was like eating a piece of chocolate heaven and I swear to you on all that is good and decent in this world, I have NEVER had such wonderful ice cream in my life.  It had an amaretto almond cinnamon flavor that was simply divine. I wanted to walk up to the kitchen with my bowl in hand and beg for more as in the film Oliver.  I knew they would have gladly given me another scoop, but we had to leave.

There is no doubt in my mind why this restaurant is successful.  I intend on going again and again and whenever we have guests visit, will be bringing them as well.  I hate to share this best kept secret, but food and atmosphere this good is made to be shared!  Go and enjoy!

Outstanding food.  Had the lamb ravioli, steak, and flourless chocolate cake, along with some good steak and chocolate dark beer.  Great bread served with hummus - an interesting and welcome choice.  I take my steaks medium rare and have, over the years, gotten a few bad ones.  But this was a top 3 steak - flawless in every sense.  The wife had some of the best sea scallops we'd ever tried.  Amazing, super-knowledgeable service.

This is just a personal thing, but why I did 4 stars instead of 5 - the menu, music, and service were top notch with a sort of contempo feel, but the decor seemed like it was for a different restaurant.  It has a sort of rustic cabin feel, with paintings by a featured local artist.  It wasn't bad, it was just sort of jarring.  But really, everything else - amazing.

The most amazing birthday dinner I have even had. A uniquely small rustic cottage tucked in between towering lodge-pole pines. Our late reservation for 8 left us with most the place to ourselves on a Wednesday night- this is a good thing considering my unruly friends. Service was amazing- amazing wine list and our server Casey had unlimited knowledge of the food, ingredient, origins of products, everything! My pheasant salad melted my mouth, but nothing compared to to the pork tenderloin that followed.

The music was great- some ambient glitch step, and local artisits pieces decorated the log walls. I cannot wait to come back to Tahoe and bring my friends here.

. Had the best food by far at this place in North Shore Tahoe. Pretty expensive but we did take home dessert and leftovers. Our waiter was really knowledgable and explained the special and food to the "D"  and it was perfect.

This is by far in my top five restaurants. I almost always go with the special because I can never decide with the menu. Everything just looks so fabulous. I love the atmosphere of the place. Small, cosy, friendly service, great food, wonderful drinks, what else do ya need?

I realize it can be a little pricey but they always have specials going on so read the local paper.

Whoever once said that all the best gourmet eats are in San Francisco is dead wrong because Soule Domain is absolutely amazing!

Coming in to this restaurant feels like you're knocking on grandma's cottage door.  Once inside, you are immediately hit with a rustic, cozy, intimate vibe.  It's hard to believe the punch the food packs amidst the blazing fireplace and vintage decor.

The servers here really know they're stuff.  They are attentive, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and very personable.  I mean, our waitress shared the SEVEN nightly specials from memory - that's impressive!

The food here is a product of culinary genius - from the bread to the dessert!  You are greeted with fresh baked bread - rolls and wheat slices - and hummus.  My boyfriend and I shared the ahi salad and it was unlike anything we've ever had!  The fish was incredibly fresh and the combination of spicy and tangy flavors paired very well.  For entrees, I had the salmon special, which came with a sauce I would die to recreate!  It was a some mixture of onions, capers, white wine, butter, and endives that just melted in your mouth!  My boyfriend opted for the scallop and shrimp pasta, which sounds average, but tasted gourmet.  What's great here is that each entree comes with a soup and a side.  Now, the best part about our dinner - the dessert!  We shared the infamous Queen of Sheba cake (flourless chocolate cake) with a scoop of their handmade amaretto, vanilla, cinnamon ice cream.   Now this ice cream combined the best possible ingredients I've ever seen together!  I can only wish that some ice cream company out there could sell this flavor by the gallon.  It was divine!

What a wonderful, romantic, and taste bud pleasing dining experience!

I really, really wanted to like this place.  It's so cute and charming; a cozy little log cabin restaurant.  The menu works really hard to be contemporary and modern.  It's so cute you just want to pat it on the head for trying.  Awesome staff, very attentive.

I celebrated my husband's birthday here with family.  Living in LA, I am use to great restaurants and had some reservations about the dining options in Lake Tahoe.  This restaurant eased my fears immediately.

The night was amazing!  The restaurant itself is small and intimate, you would pass it if you didn't know it was there.  However, Soule Domain easily accommodated our party of 7.  Our waiter, Casey, puts most of the wanna-be-actors/waiters in Los Angeles to shame. He knew the menu and wine list inside and out. He made recommendations on wine pairing.  He even let me order off of the menu and brought me the most delicious lobster tail pasta dish.

Make sure that you save room for dessert.  The white chocolate mousse was my favorite (we tried the Queen of Sheba and the homemade almond ice cream).

    OMG, dinner was amazing!

The food and service were both amazing. Five of us had a fabulous dinner and our waiter Casey gave us impeccable service.

The food was terrific. I had the special bay scallop appetizer and the ono fish entrée. Plus, I had some of the out-of-this-world flourless chocolate cake with a delicious muscat wine.

Highly recommended. We are very glad we made a reservation ahead of time to avoid a wait.

I'm gonna give 5 stars because food really is that good, although I have one critical comment to make.

Rule #1 (and only rule...) - never take things too seriously.
Right when we drove up, there was a fire-truck and an ambulance in front.  We figured that someone had fallen or gotten sick at the biltemore hotel and casino that is directly across the street.  Honestly, it is one of the senior citizen capitals of the world.  We walked right in the restaurant and made a joke to the staff and said something like, "Hope those people didn't get sick from eating here!"  Not funny.  Not funny at all.  The looks we got from one of the staff were indescribable and hilarious actually.  We are the type of people who will continue to joke around if we notice people are not havin' it.  It's sort of our goal to crack people but they never really lightened up.  It was awkward.  It seemed like they were annoyed that we were there.  We were harmless though, I promise!

Food - de-lish.  We ordered a shitake mushroom linguine appetizer that was really flavorful and pleasant.  I could have eaten a big plate of that and been happy.  But, we ordered 2 entrees.  My entree was a curried cashew chicken with some steamed veggies and wild rice.  It was really good, really heavy.  Had a perfect hint of spiciness.  Would I order it again?  Probably not. There are plenty of other dishes I would like to try and it didn't completely knock my socks off.  My dinner partner also ordered a organic chicken dish that had a grainy mustard sauce, mushrooms, and potatoes (I think that was it...).  I didn't try it, but I can report that it was "delicious".

Vegan Soup?  Yes Please!  Any time I can trick my taste buds and avoid dairy, I get excited.  It was a vegan broccoli ginger soup and tasted so creamy and delicious.  It warmed me right up.

We ordered the bread pudding and a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert.  The BP was full of nuts, raisins, and other delights.

I'm tired and need to go to sleep to that's all I have to report.  Would definitely come again but will keep my jokes to a minimum...

What a find this place is. Everything was very good. The Chef Used to be at Christy Hill in Squaw Valley before they moved to Tahoe City. While Christy Hill would like to grill you a Veal chop and charge alot, this place actually has some dishes that involve some preparation. We had an Ahi salad appetizer with green Beans that was very good and I am not really a fan of sushi. The Cauilflower soup had no cream but just a touch of cumin and was perfect. I had the Seafood sautee and it was excellent. My wife had one of the fish specials that was very good. Desert was Homemade Ginger Lemon Cheese cake that was to die for,My wife had the bread pudding which was actually a receipe from a guy who ate there years ago from the South. Corkage fee is $15.00 and they actually pour the wine for you.

The waiter, the brother of the chef, was the most knowledgeable waiter I have run into in at least 20 years. He knew every dish and also made recommendations to go with the Anderson Valley Gewurtztraminer that I brought. The wine list lookes reasonable with a Rombauer Cabernet for $52.00. I looked at the Rombauer site and they list the retail of this wine at $42.00Too bad there is no Grgich on the list.

The setting is a Log cabin built in the 20's with a big Fire Place.Go there. I don't think there is another place like this around. You can find pretensous, high priced restaurants that will leave you  feeling ripped off.

    What a weird place.

It's situated in an old wood cabin, very rustic and cozy.  The menu doesn't mesh well with the decor, which can be charming or confusing.  I was taken here on a first date and had been told to dress nice.  I was wearing a short but modest satin dress and heels with jewelry and was woefully overdressed.  The hostess and waitstaff were dressed like they were going to be spending the night on the couch with their feet up and watch re-runs.  Disheveled (waiter had a wrinkled button up shirt that was half tucked in) and maybe high?  (he was very confused and paused for long uncomfortable stretches while reciting the specials and answering questions).

The table we had seemed nice as it was near the fireplace.  It was a wobbly table, but we were declined when we asked to be moved to a stable one (they were full).   It was also too close to the fireplace as my date had his back slowly seared throughout the night.

The food had creative flair but a lot of the execution was off.  I ordered a seared duck breast with raspberry orange sauce and it was awful.  Too much sauce and the duck was overcooked yet soggy?  The joy of eating duck breast is the contrast of a crispy succulent skin and the velvety richness of the rare flesh.  I could have sworn my duck was microwaved (probably not, more likely sitting under a salamander too long?).  The bread was ok, but we requested butter in lieu of the hummus spread it came with and the waiter acknowledged the request but never provided the butter.  We decided against dessert as my dates back was getting pretty roasted and I felt uncomfortable being overdressed.

I spent a few snowboarding seasons in Incline Village. If you've hung out there for any extended amount of time, you know that:

    1. It's a very small quiet community
    2. There's absolutely no night life
    3. There's a lot of rich people (Mafia! Anyone seen Godfather 3?)
    4. There's actually a handful of really good restaurants in and around the area.

So because of #2 most people head down to Stateline where the gambling is. Just over the Stateline on the CA side is Soule Domain, a small, charming little log cabin restaurant. While driving around there you might miss it amongst the Cal Neva, Biltmore and Crystal Bay casinos.

Charlie and Stephen Soule are two brothers that run this great little find. Charlie is the Chef, while Steve is the Floor Manager/Head waiter.    These 2 two create a wonderful dining experience with Charlie's Pan Asian cuisine and Steve's attention to detail of service. The environment is intimate enough for a date or special occasion but not so much so that you couldn't  enjoy dinner with a few friends.

Definitely consider the specials. The menu for the most part doesn't change a lot because it's very solid, so getting something that the chef is going to give extra detail to is usually well worth it. Some of my notable favorites:

Grilled Lamb and Goat Cheese Salad
    Australian Lobster Tail
    Rack of Lamb
    FIlet Mignon
    Sea Scallops

I'm not a huge fan of their desserts but  they too are all solid and everyone I've taken here has loved them. So if you're making the trek to the North Shore of Tahoe drop by Soule Domain for one of the most enjoyable dining experiences near the lake.

Lived in Tahoe for 5 years and this place is amazing, perhaps the best food in the Tahoe basin. Amazingly romantic log cabin with creative French influenced modern menu with Asian undertones.

This is probably the best Crystal Bay, NV or North shore has to offer in terms of nice places to dine.  Food was good and well prepared.

We shared everything that night and brought our own bottle (2006 Acacia Pinot). $15 corkage.

    Aps.
Dinner salad:  Baby Greens, feta, dried cranberries, olives, jucy tomatoes.
Ahi Tuna Carpacchio: more like a play on carpacchio... 5 slivers of lightly seared ahi with an olive tapinade, finger toast, grana, olive oil and iceberg lettuce. (only reason for the 4 star). Decent but not memorable.

    Entree's
Sea scallops with fresh mango and kiwi in a beurre blanc...  Yum!  Sweet salty, great balance.  Scallops in the mountains done well.

Black Cod.... Need I say more...  Sweet, Buttery, perfectly cooked.

Both entrees came with soup (tomato' basil... CUMIN!), vegitables and awesome wild rice.

    Dessert.

Lemon-cello gelato with fresh fruits, cookies and whipped cream.  Aside from the company.  This was the highlight of the evening.

Best of luck to the coupon-touting couple that got engaged during our first sip of pinot.  I think it was their first time fine dining in a resteraunt.  They seemed to be used to cheap motels with glass walls.  And for dessert?  More tongue please.

Steve was great.  Excellent service.  and very inexpensive.  Value added.  BTW: Great wine list!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!  My boyfriend stumbled across this restaurant as he was looking for a place so we can celebrate my birthday.  It's a cute, quaint restaurant off the beaten path.

They start you off w/ warm homemade bread and hummus - good stuff!
We were inspired by our neighboring table that was raving about the appetizer - lamb raviolis.  I couldn't stop dipping the bread in the ravioli sauce.  Entrees are served w/ soup, starch, and veggie.  The soup was ok - carrot ginger I believe.  My boyfriend opted for the pork and I for the shrimp linguine.  The pork was cooked to perfection - tender and tasty.  The shrimp linguine was the dayam good.  There was several medium sized shrimp and the linguine was cooked to perfection - al dente.  The staff was so sweet in accommodating my sweetheart's request for dessert served w/ a lighted candle.   It was a slice of chocolate cake, whip cream filled and a chocolate ganache outer layer served with a side of whip cream and strawberries.  It was a perfect dinner to celebrate my birthday!

Excellent food! The last time I went was with my gf and family and we were VERY happy with the food.  Our waitress was as sharp as a bowling ball, but that actually made dinner a more amusing experience.  I'm not sure if I agree with their "best place to take a date" claim because the restaurant gets really loud.  I would say its best for a group who want a great meal, and have money to spend.

I wouldn't mind being there right now! (Stomach grumbles...)

Note to Tim F. on 6-25-07 - I am not one of the "employees/owners" at the Soule Domain! I could see how some of the servers could be a pain. I suppose I've just gotten the right ones or simply was having too much fun with my group to notice. We did get served by an incredibly brain-dead but attractive waitress last fall, and we all couldn't stop laughing because she was so dim. But the food has always been really good! I'll have to go there sometime soon to see if my review needs updating!

Unbelievably excellent and eclectic.  This tiny restaurant has only 12 tables so I would highly recommend getting reservations.  As it was we got in only because of a cancellation.  The restaurant is built into an itty bitty log cabin which has been tastefully decorated with a fire burning in the corner.

The food is by far the best we've had in Tahoe over our last two dozen trips.  We started with the beet salad with quail followed by a curry and cauliflower soup that was amazingly delicate.  For the main course my wife had the filet mignon with a burgundy butter and shitake mushroom sause that melted in your mouth.  I had the filet of sole that was flakey and delicious.  For dessert we had a bread pudding that was most likely the best bread pudding we've ever had.

The service at Soule Domain is excellent but could be considered a tad pretentious by some.  We really enjoyed the wait staff who were extremely quirky but attentive.

    Couple of notes:
    1.  It's tough to find.  Coming from Kings Beach it is on the road just before the Biltmore on the left hand side of the road.  It is recessed from the main road a bit and it took us almost 20 minutes to find it in the dark.
    2.  The parking lot can be very ice in the winter so be careful.

    Plusses:
    +beet salad
    +warm bread & homemade hummus
    +cute log cabin

    Big Minuses:
-waitstaff a bit too attentive (you feel like you're being watched the entire time!)
    -lobster wontons
-scallop special (BTW--the menu said "scallops" and I only got one.)
    -escargot
-sauces were WAY too rich and strong (salty & a bit sour), drowning out the flavors of the lobster, scallop and escargot

    +3 - 5 = 2

We really enjoyed our recent dinner at Soule Domain.  It was very had to choose between the menu and the specials - everything was appealing.  Great fish choices - not only do they taste great, but the fish is sourced sustainably.  Cozy, intimate setting, great service, priced well for the quality of the food.  My husband was thrilled when we received the bill ;-)

I had New Year's dinner at Soule Domain this year.  It is a cute and cozy restaurant with a good looking menu.  Supposedly the place has won some awards too.  Although I wouldn't consider the cuisine award winning in the Bay Area, for the Tahoe area it is definitely very good.

A bonus is that it is close enough to the cheezy casinos at stateline that you can walk over after dinner and have some fun, but it's not *in* a casino so you don't feel over-cheezed.

Amazing dinner... We walked in at 9:07 and even though they were done seating for the night they sat us. Be sire to get here before 9 PM even on a saturday night. We shared the ahi tuna salad special. We had the cod special and the shrimp, lobster, and scallop dinner. Don't fill up on the homemade bread even though it's amazing. Be sure to save room for dessert; next time I'll try the bread pudding if I can save room...

We had the best meal we've had in a long time here. The place is cozy. The wine list is good. They really need to have abetter micro beer selection. The pork tenderloin melted in my mouth and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. It was well worth the price. The service was great.  This is a must go if your in North Tahoe.

One of the best "date night" places on the North Shore.

As mentioned, it's just on the California side of the border on the Northside of the highway.

Randomly strolled in here on a work trip last winter.  It was quite awhile ago so I don't remember exactly what I ordered -- I think it involved a quail sausage salad and a steak.  Both were amazing, and after a few glasses of wine I informed the owner that I would be giving him 5 stars on Yelp.  So here I am, 6 months later, still remembering that amazing meal -- definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Tahoe!

Budget traveler's tip: book a dirt-cheap room at the Tahoe Biltmore and spend your dough at Soule Domaine.

Returned to Soule Domain for the first time in years just a couple weeks ago. The place was exactly as i remembered it.  Awesome ambiance, great menu, great wine, great service.  Its a great place to take a date and is really one of the better restaurants at tahoe.  Very unique...like you walked into alice in wonderland.

Watch your head at the door (if youre over 5' tall).  You'll see what i mean when you go.

    Cant miss.
