Very clean, quality equipment. It is on the pricey side, but they are always having deals. My favorite of which is the 5th Sunday Sale--in month's that have 5 Sundays they have a great deal.

They have the great spray tan machines. I haven't used these (I got for the full cancer treatment), but my friends have and they looked very natural.

I'm on my way to Cabo and haven't seen much of the sun so I thought a quick stop at Sorrento would do the trick. My girlfriend goes there and had purchased their "point system" packages. She always looks great and tan so I headed on over. Of course the parking sucks - so better to take the above ground and get off at Noe and market area.  I was greeted by the front desk girl and was offered my choice of beds. She said since I am dark by nature, I can handle the medium/hi laydown bed for 10 minutes of the maximum 12.  I also purchased a bronzer lotion to try. The bed was clean, huge and also came with a little jolly rancher in sour apple. I look forward to going back after Mexico to maintain my golden skin.  One star off for no radio's in the rooms. I don't like to listen to techno during my 10 minute tropical vacation. - oh well

So its been alleged and asked, "Sean, have you been tanning?" by some prominent and Elite yelpers who shall go nameless.
And the answer is always "NO" because despite a cloudy overcast week I have color but the truth is, if I go running outside for a half hour some mid day, I'm going to get color. But the truth is also, at the beginning of the season, it helps to build a base and the good folks here have a base building package.  For under $70, you get to go like 8 times some times as short as 2 minutes to help whiteys like me prevent a summer of burning each time we step outside the door and walk to Muni.

I know that I'm not suposed to tan. I know it, I know it, I know it.  But it was my partner's sisters wedding... IN MEXICO! And really, I just couldn't go all pastey white, like I'd been living in Canada!  I told them my plan and they started me up with the base tan plan. It was 7 sessions for $79.00. I got a base tan, then did two medium pressure and one high pressure and wound up being beautifully golden brown in just one month. It was worth it. I looked so hot on the beach.

What color are you?  Beige?

That has to be the first time I have ever seen a questionnaire like this before.  I recently went in here for the first time to try out some tanning equipment.  I filled out a quick survey to help them figure out what my settings should be.  I don't burn easily, I don't tan easily, colors of paint, were some of the highlights.  At the end (like many surveys) it asked me if I had certain diseases.  I told the lady behind the counter I had never even heard of these diseases, so I must not have them.  She laughed.  Okay, slow night I guess.

The place is large enough that they can easily take several people at the same time.  The prices are very competitive.  I got a beginner special (or something like that) which is basically six visits for 49 smackers.  Not bad, considering it would probability cost me more than that to pay for gas to go to a hot and sunny beach right now.. jeez.

This castro neighborhood tanning salon is expensive, but they have high-quality, well maintained equipment... I've been there a few times to maintain a vacation tan or to spray tan for an event, and am always impressed with how friendly and helpful they are. They have 2-for-1 Tuesdays when you and a friend can both tan for the price of one, before 10am cheap tans, and a free tan for every referral you make... Your first tan is 1/2 price, but at $24 to $36 per tan, it's still expensive at half price. I guess this is the price for using great equipment.
