Sorrentino's Pizzeria
3 reviews for Sorrentino's Pizzeria
Your neighborhood pizzeria and spaghetti house, smack dab in the middle of Will'ville.
I used to live a block away from 'tino's, so it's safe to say i've tried nearly everything on the menu. Like the previous review says, their big hitters are pizza, wings, subs and the homemade pasta sauce.
Everything is out of this world, and their prices are rock-bottom. Portions are tremendous... you may be able to get an extra TWO meals out of an entree! (example: Order even a salad... get a mountain of flavor.)
I've always been partial to the pizza & wings at Sorrentino's.... some of the best food the area has to offer.
Service is always friendly and prompt and the bartenders are warm and funny, like neighborhood barkeeps SHOULD be.
I think what I liked the best about Sorrentino's was that the pizzas all tasted very different - and by that I mean even the sauce tasted different. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and another one with everything on it. I am not sure if it was the sweet peppers but the pizza with everything just tasted sweeter, I thought it was the sauce but I could be wrong. I had a slice of each kind and could have gone for a 3rd slice but since I was with people from work I decided to be more lady-like and not stuff my face. I wish I could have eaten there again while I was in town but time didn't allow.
This family owned restaurant has been around for over 25 years. Pizza, subs, wings and spaghetti dishes are the staples here. Their antipasto is one of the best in the area. Friday nights is always packed because of their fish fry.
There is a small bar where the locals congregate on a daily basis. The only drawback is that area can be quite noisy when you are trying to enjoy your food in the dinning room.
Their pizzas and submarines can be hit or miss. It all depends on who is working in the kitchen. You can have an outstanding pizza one day and the next day you can have one that is terrible. Consistency in the kitchen doesn't seem to be there.
Try the antipasto, it is the best item on the menu. 3 stars at best is the rating here.
